Someone once told me that mother nature was the Earth. I jumbled this up somehow and got to thinking that mother nature was kind of like santa claus, only she would watch you when you were out in nature and would punish you if you damaged anything. I was terrified to go running in gym class, but would never explain to my teacher why i HAD to run on the mulch.
The worst story, however, was in the woods on a class field trip. I tripped and snapped a branch off of a tree. I was badly scraped up, but wouldn't stop screaming about how "mother's going to kill me now"
I used to think that tornadoes were tomatoes. and when we were in a tornado warning I thoiught we were in a tomato warning and I was very scared. I thought the tomatoes were going to smash up our whole house like a tornado would.
Because of my sister, I believe that when there was a ring around the moon, aliens would come the next day and abduct someone. I told this to my friends because I honestly had no idea and ended up scaring them silly.
Kentucky's nickname is the "Bluegrass state" and when we were driving cross country I couldn't hardly wait to get there because I thought the grass was going to actually be BLUE! My mom couldn't figure out why I kept asking "How many more miles 'til we get to Kentucky?" then when we crossed the state line and the whole world was still green, you can't even imagine how disappointed I was. I still kind of have a grudge against Kentucky :)
