When i was little, the town pool was called the 'Old Mill' although i thought it was the Old Milk and i used to think that everyones wasted milk was put into that pool.

My older sister had come home from school one day and she told me that htey had learnd all about a planet called pluto. She told me about how pluto was very cold because it was a long way away from the sun. Being a little kid i watched cartoons all the time, and i thought that pluto was a doghouse floating out in space with a really cold dog inside. ( Pluto the Dog, from Mickey Mouse)

I used to belive neil Armstrong jumped onto the moon and everyone saw him cause of course he was half a big as it!

I looked at the moon ever since and pictured an astronaught half as big as the moon standing on it with an american flag!

I also belived (like many people) that the moon followed me while in the car at night.

When i was little i always wanted a dog so i would blow those danddy lions and i would hope my wish would come true but one day my dad told me that im doing it wrong thats why my wish hasent come true he said you have to eat them so i put one in my mouth and thought it taseted nasty then he started to laugh and said i was just kidding but hey i endded up getting a dog!

I was positively convinced that if i ran fast enough towards the moon, i would catch up to it.
The same occurs with shadows.
I spent hours trying to do this!
I never tried to do the same with the sun because, obviously, it was too hot and i could catch on fire!

I thought that wood was made out of people. So when my dad insisted on me helping him nail wood together, I would say "sorry" each time I would hit the nail into the people.

I used to believe that on the Fourth of July, when they did fireworks, that they were shooting rockets into space and blowing up stars. I would scream and cry because I was scared that the stars pieces would smush me.

When I was in my beginning years of school, I used to think that thunder-storms was the Wicked Witch of the West coming to get me. This was right after I saw Wizard of Oz for the first time, it was also when I thought that every storm turned into a tornado.

When I was younger I was afraid when it stormed..so my mom told me that the angels were bowling in heaven. And when it thundered or lighting then one of the angels made a strike!~!

I went to the beach alot during my childhood but i was never allowed to swim at night time. My parents would never tell me why which i thought was mean UNTIL i realised the reason i couldn't swim @ night was because the government turned off the waves at night time so stop people swimming!

I must have pulled flowers from my grandmothers Fushia bush because I was told if you touch the long stamen in the centre of the flower you would die. At 66 years I still cannot bring myself to touch it.

that all planets were stars

i used to think that if a person put their finger on a globe a huge finger would come down ansd like smush everything... fina;;y i got up the courage to put my finger down and wher i was living when nothing happened i stoped beleiving it!

when my family would be driving down a major highway, we would pass these factories that would let out this cloudy stuff. my mom would tell me "they are cloud makers"...little did i know it was pollution :)

I used to believe that when it rained it was God crying.

When I was in second grade my best friend Allison went out of town for 2 weeks. because i was so little, this seemed like forever, and i really began to miss her. i was watching tv with my parents one night and they were talking about "hurricane allison". i got really worried about my friend allison because i thought she was in some kind of danger. i was crying hysterically and nothing would make me feel better.
