I have a very good memory.
I hardly ever put things that weren't supposed to be eaten in my mouth. My mum agrees with this. But once i ate some kind of 'succulent' plant, and threw up for three days straight. I remember still why i did it, and only when i told my mum why i did it about 4 years ago (when i was 14) did i realise how weird my reason was. I was pretending these round leaves were money.

Once when I was a kid, I planted some apple seeds, hoping to grow apples. I didn't know then that apples grow on trees. What I sort of expected to come up from each seed was a vertical stem about one or two feet high, topped off by a single apple. I envisioned no leaves on such a plant. Once it produced its single apple on top, it was finished growing and nothing more would ever become of that plant, so I thought.

As a child I believed that the dark-colored "night clouds" that are visible after sunset are made of special dark-blue water vapor. At some point in my adult life I realized that this belief had persisted in my mind uncorrected!

I used to believe that the world was actually a snowglobe and when it snowed, that meant God was shaking us up!

I used to believe that it couldn't possibly rain until there was no blue left showing in the sky. I was very surprised by my first sun-shower, and I'm pretty sure it happened while I was in high school!

One day we were driving and we smelled something aweful. My parents told me it was a "chicken plant." I missunderstood and whenever something stunk...I figured a "chicken plant" was growing near. I found out about 4yrs. later that it was a chicken plant where they proscess chickens. I was so embarrassed. I had told all of my friends about the stinky "chicken plant!"

When travelling in a car in the rain I used to hear the rain stop for about 1/2 a second and then start again. My mum told me that this was because there were holes in the clouds. I realised when I got older that it was just the car going under bridges!
