I knew about the weather balloon and how they let it go up into the sky but I use to believe that we knew what the weather was going to be like because God would put a sticky note or something on it and send it back down to the weather people.

When I was little I thought thunder was god bowling and I thought that lightning was god looking through the clouds I was just scared of rain because i didn't knovw what was happening i really really hopped it wasn't bad

I used to believe there was a creature that lived under the ocean called the "Under Toad." Whenever we drove by the beach, I'd look out the car window, and if I saw something sticking up out of the water, I knew it was the "Under Toad" lurking (I now realize it was probably seaweed). I think I developed this belief when I was about 4 years old and fell into a deep hole at the seashore. I probably would have drowned if it hadn't been for a kindly stranger who rescued me, because my mom was too far up on the beach to get to me in time!

Just last year while my sister was in her 20's i got her to believe that there was an astriod that will hit the earth in less then a year that will be the size of Africa. She was so scared i told her it was bigger then the one that hit billions of years ago that killed off all the dinesoar

When I was younger, my brother told me that smokestacks in big industries made the clouds and that inside these buildings were little elves that worked continuously to keep the clouds coming. I was so amazed at this that every time we passed one I'd stare so I could catch a glimpse of an elf. I found out about 4 years later that clouds were not made there and no elves were hired to make them.

I used to believe that mountains are actually the bodies of dead dinosaurs, covered by the earth.

i used to believe that we all lived on the inside of the earth. in other words, the world is hollow, therefore we must live on the inside of the outer crust. also, the crust was made of aluminum. how we got into outer space, i do not know.

When I was either in kindergarten or grade one, we were out for recess and I looked up to see a hazy rainbow around the sun. I was amazed and asked an older girl (who was helping to supervise our class, I think) what caused it & she told me that it was because at that moment, everyone in the world was happy. I still think of her response whenever I see that phenomenon - what a nice answer to a little girl's question.

When i was 3 or 4 my aunt told me that pollution coming out of smoke stacks at factorys was "Cloud Machines". Iwas very gullible.

one day an old lady told me that the man on the moons legs were in his mouth , cause you can only see the mouth and the eyes how stupid

When I was young (7 or 8) I would believe that everytime it rained that God was having a little party w/ his friends in heaven and were bowling (don't ask) anyways whenever it would thunder i would always believe that God got a strike and the bowling pins made the crashing sound. And when lighting stiked that was the floors surface splitting for a second whenever a bowling ball hit the floor to hard at the bowling alley. i was a very imagative kid!

When I was about 5, I used to believe that it rained because god was crying. I used to pray to him and try to cheer him up. HA!

when i was about 7 or 8 years old, i accidentally swallowed the seed of a calamansi fruit (really really small round version of the lime fruit, except a notch sweeter). i told my guardian about it and she said that i have to get it out of my body immediately because a calamansi plant will grow inside my body overnight. it took my mom about a couple of hours or so to reassure little ol' me that that wasn't gonna happen.

I used to think that cattails (you know.. they grow on the riverbanks, etc) tasted like corndogs.

I never ate one, though. Promise.

I used to believe that when there was a storm, God was moving furniture around and lightning was God taking a picture of his new result and thunder was him destroying it because he didn't like ir afterall. I couldn't understand how come God moved his furniture so much! :)
