when i was a kid, i used to sleep early in the night and wake up after the sun rose...so i used to believe that sun rises only after we wake up from sleep, and if we did not sleep in the night, there will not be the morning.

when I was in kindergarten my teacher asked me what I wanted to be when i grew up. I promptly replied-
"I want to be a cloud."
she looked at me weird.
Until I turned 13, I thought the signs up in the mountains: "Watch for falling rock" was warning people about a murderous Indian named Falling Rock. Scared me senseless.

When I was about 3 or 4 years old I thought that when it was snowing, God sent all children icecream... so I ate it.
I once asked my mum if the moon actually follow us. Her response was 'no'. Now I know that the moon does not follow us.
I had a huge discussion in 2nd grade standing at the globe. The other person said we live on the outside of the globe. Duh- we live on the inside! Besides if we lived on the outside how would we not just fall off into space?!!
When i was younger i used belive that seat belts in the car were for to protect you from flying out the window. If you took them off and the window was open, you would fly out. I belived this untill i was 9
I used to believe that when I run, the moon runs with me. I said my older sister to run and see if it would follow her, but as I was standing still, it didn't move... I told her "the moon doesn't wana play with you" and felt so sorry!!
When i was younger, me and my little cousin got scared of the thunder and lightning. So my older cousin said that it was God taking pictures so we should always smile.. Haha, every time there is thunder and lighting i still smile, not because i think god is taking my picture but because i suddenly get flashbacks of those happy times! Suddenly remembered due to the awful weather...

Because plants grow so slowly that it doesn't look like they are growing, I used to think that plants only grew when people weren't looking.
When I was 7 walking back home from the park one day it was really windy. Annoyed with the wind because it was loud and making it harder to walk I stood there with a finger to my lips and shouted SHHHHHH. The wind calmed down. I was convinced for years that I had control over the wind and when was doing something outside an it was hot I used to tell it to give me a breeze. What didn't actually help was a breeze usually came along
My mind was blown when I found out that we live on a giant ROUND planet. Like many people, I used to think the world was flat, because that is how it looks. (It's obviously an illusion caused by how small we are, compared to the planet.)
When I was little, I thought a tornado was a "torn 'mato" and imagined a giant killer tomato with torn garments flying behind it like streamers as it raged through town.
When I was about 5, my brother told me that clouds didn't move. They just looked like they were moving because the Earth was rotating.
When I was very young, every time I said the word 'rain,' or I heard someone say rain, it seemed to rain within that day if not the next day. I thought if you said rain, you could make it rain. If only that worked for real, then we'd never have any droughts! XD
I used to believe that women became pregnant when two people kissed.
I later discovered that was just the beginning.
For some reason, I used to believe the sky was the beach (the clouds were the sand and the blue part was the ocean- I'm not sure what I thought about cloudy days)

I used to call the rays of light from the sun "sun BEANS". That's what it sounded like to me.
I used to believe that power lines were what held the trees up. The more lines there were, the more likely the tree was to fall, and if the tree had grown around the lines then that proved that they were working! Thoughts of a five-year-old staring out the backseat car window!
