LOVED this site! My Mom used to set up our plastic bowling pin set in the long hallway in our house when it was storming, and when we heard thunder it was because an angel had bowled a strike! Years later I learned she did it because she was frightened by storms.

We were always told that lightning was God's fireworks; no fear to be had. Like then, still love a good lightning storm.

My friend's daughter always thought we were talking about the "windshield factor" She couldn't understand how we could tell how cold it was using a windshield.

When i was little, my dad would tell me that when it thundered that my grandma had just bowled a strike in a game of bowling with the angels! :) He told me that she loved bowling when she was alive and that it thundered so much cuz when she played she was wicked good!

When we would go to the beach we used to play in the waves. my brother told me they were whales. and i got so freaked out every time a wave came, i jumped as high as i could, not wanting to hurt the whales. boy , it was hard to keep up sometimes.

As a kid we used to go on drives in the country. I noticed all these large things covered by tapolen mats. I asked what was under them. By brother told me they were u.f.o's under there. there was so many of them. Needless to say i was terrified of going in the country where all the aliens were ! (Later i found out it was haybales.)

Thunders are created because of the collision of clouds

I used to believe, when I was like five, that space had a bottom. I thought that the north pole was the only safe place to live, because it was facing up. I had no idea of gravity.

I used to think that the plant next to my house was a cloud plant because of the smoke coming out of the bug tubes

When I was a kid I thought that the wind was caused by the trees fanning their leaves...

I used to believe that rainbows were lights that humans sent to the sky

i used to believed the moon fallowed me whenever i was in the car..

I used to think that the sun moon and stars were in the sky. the sun was like a light and would go out at night. the moon and stars were like night lights that glow in the dark!

There is large factory in the largest city near my hometown that has an impressive smokestack. When I was little, I thought that the factory was where clouds came from.

I used to believe that the moon lived on top of our house because I could always see it from the window.

The moon was made of cheese and ......
there was a man up there looking down over you spying too see if you where naughty or nice ..and if you where he would tell my mom and dad ....
