When I was about 6 we had a small pine tree in our front yard that my sister and I would always climb. I believed that if I climbed high enough that I would be able to touch the sky. I was disappointed when I did finally get high enough that I was not able to do that!

i used to believe that it was illegal for it to rain on Sundays ("Sun's" day). I couldn't quite figure out who would get arrested (possibly my minister at my church) but i knew that if i ever got rained on on a sunday that i would be a suspect.

when i was little, maybe 4 or 5...i really believed there was "a pot of gold" at the end of the rainbow...we would take long family drives, and if a rainbow was spotted , my mother would say keep looking for the pot of gold , and i would watch for the end of that rainbow, not taking my eyes off it...hoping to see one...lol

I used to believe that rainbows were like the Lottery. Every rainbow was supposed to have a pot of gold at the end of it and I always wondered whose yard it landed in after it rained.

I used to think that when going up a hill, and you couldn't see sny more of the road because it was on the other side, that we were driving near the end of the world, and were going to fall off, but when we didn't, i came to the conclusion that we just fell into another dimention.

When I was little I thought that lighting could travel through the ground and zap me in the house, and that if my feet were anywhere near the ground it would get me. So if a storm hit i had to have my feet elevated off my bed by my foot stool.

I am a teen now. But when I was very young I believed the Hess stations (when the white smoke or fumes come out of it) were simply making clouds. I used to always stare at it in awe. To this day I don't know what that white puffy stuff coming out of it is. I sound foolish when I say so, but hey, nobody ever told me.

I believe that it would rain when God would be having a shower or washing his clothes.

I remember when when I thought that the clouds turned over to make it night outside and the sun turned off, and that was the moon

When I was small I my Mom told me that if I put a bit from a Pussy Willow tree into my ear.. one would grow out of it. When my neighbor cut down his tree, I pushed one far into each ear, in order to perserve my favorite neighborhood tree. Those poor nurses had to fight tooth and nail to get them out.. I wasn't letting them kill my trees!

When I was 4 I believed the mountains where actually the skirts of giant ladies who were resting or lying down because they rested during daytime.

I also believed there were giants everywhere, as well as small people (less than one inch) who were always spying what we do, especially in the bathroom.
