When I was really little I was walking through my grandparents apple orchard and an apple fell right on my head. I'd seen the Wizard of Oz days before, so I was convinced that one of the trees had thrown it at me. I still steer clear of apple trees, and I'm 21 years old.

When I was 5 years old I used to believe that the clouds in the sky are fixed and the movement of the earth, cause that we feel they moved

I used to (and still kinda do if I'm real bored on car trips) That the moon followed me. I would somtimes get frusterated that I couldn't follow it. That it was always following me, but never the other way around. I felt kinda special though. I would sometimes try to "trick" it, to see if I'm really that special that it wants to follow little old me around!!!

When i was little my daddy told me that when it was snowing outside the angels up in heaven were chipping ice.

When I was little I thought that factory smokestacks that produced clouds of white fluffy exhaust were cloud factories, and that's where clouds came from.

My older brothers used to tell me that the plant outside our dining room window grew lizards. The leaves on it are long and skinny and there were always lizards around. I believe that for way too long!

When I was a kid and saw floodings on TV with poor peoples houses under water, I found it super cool and wished the same happen to me, because I would be able to swim from my room to the kitchen and back to the living room

My friend believed that when lightening flashed, you better smile because God was taking your picture!

I used to beleive that I wasn't allowed to go swimming at certain areas on the beach because if I went in the water the "UNDERTOAD" would get me. I imagined a giant people-eating toad just below the surface just waiting to inhale me and a huge gulp of water if I dared to swim.

I was much older before I realized it was the under-tow (under water tidal currents which are dangerous because they can pull swimmimg people out into the ocean).

One day, when I was about 5, I saw a cartoon, in which a boy burried a toy-car and the other day a tree grew from it with toy-cars instead of fruits hanging from its branches. On that afternoon, after this cartoon, I burried my mom's wedding ring in order to plant a golden-ring-tree, which would solve the financial problems of my family. At that time, we were living with my great-grandfather in Hungary. When he was informed about my plan, he took a shovel and a sieve and dug up the whole garden in the hope that he would find the ring. Of course he did not. Well, I thought that I would be a hero...Luckily,my parents have sense of humor,so I wasn't punished...

When I was younger, I believed that plants had pulses al well. When I saw a friend of my older sister tear a leaf off one, I immediately went to the trunk in order to check on the tree.

when i was younger I used to believe that trees could speak with me and I spent all the summer evening speaking with the tree in my garden.

When I was 5 I was up in a tree with all the other kids in some back yard or other. Most likely a spider bit me or I cut myself on a sharp branch. There wasn't a lot of blood, but added to the pain, it was enough to scare me silly. All I saw was a red leaf as I scrambled down and away from the tree. For many years I was loath to go near any thing with a red leaf. Not long ago I had to weed eat near a bush that had some red leaves and felt a ting of that old fear. And I'm 43 years old.

I used to believe that the moon was the place where I was living and this planet was a reflection to it.

I used to believe that the moon landing was a fake...all because my mom had made a joke that I thought was real
