When I was little and was riding in the car with my Aunt and Uncle it was raining and there was thunder. I asked my Aunt if the thunder was God moving furniture around. I guess I truely thought
God was moving his furniture in his livingroom.
My Aunt and Uncle just laughed and laughed.

I thought the Earth was something you had to "get back into" or inside of. Example - when astronauts were re-entering from outerspace, my question was "how do they get back inside?" I thought we all lived inside the earth and the green and blue was just the color of the outside ball. I was so embarassed in Science class when the LIGHTBULB went off. Now I'm going to read "most comomn beliefs" to see if anyone else believed that. ha.

I used to worry that Earth would bump into another planet or that it would end up too close to the sun and FRY us. :(

when I was 5 years old, I thought the moon was always following me wherever I go. Many times I tried to run fast but then I can still see the moon behind me, as if it's trying to race me or something. And then I tried to walk slow. Yeah it's still behind me. Then I tried to walk at different paces.

I was always afraid of trailer parks because I though that is where tornados came from.

When I was little I was convinced that I was Dorothy Gale from "The Wizard of Oz". I live in the midwestern United States and we get tornados frequently, but I wasn't afraid of them at all. When we were put under tornado warnings I would run out side and sing "somewhere over the rainbow" hoping that the people of Oz would hear me (their beloved Dorothy) and bring me back to see them.

You know how on the weather they'll show where the "Jet Stream" is going? Well, up until I was 10 YEARS OLD I thought it was caused by jets flying across the country.

When I was in 4th grade one of my friends told me that if you touch this certain weed that had yellow berries on it and then let the sun hit you hand you would die. On day I touched the weed and panicked for days that I was going to die if I let the sun tough my hand for to long!
