I used to believe that the creek and wooded area behind my house led to a far away land where magical things went.
That creek was a special place to me in my childhood, we went there often with the neighbor kids and played in it. It was my own wilderness oasis.

I used to believe that rocks could breathe because when you put the ones with cracks in them in a bucket of water, bubbles would come out of them.
I remember telling my mom and dad, and them saying "No, thats not right." And I said "Yes! I saw it with my own eyes!"
I used to believe that hills were made by sleeping dinosaurs.
When I was little, I read or someone told me that the sun will eventually burn the earth and then the whole world would then become cold because there was no more sun. That bothered me so I tried to think of a really good plan to save everybody. What I thought about was building a big huge refrigerator and have everyone in it. We'll have all the food we want and everyone would live!!
I used to believe that the cardboard barriers that surround newly gowing trees were graves of people that had died in that field/platation and so therefor that ground was evil... i was so young lol
I grew up in South Florida, and naturally, spending time on the beach was a frequent past time. The vastness of the ocean always fascinated me and trying to wrap my young mind around it led to some crazy thoughts.
The one I'll never forget is when I was probably 8 or 9, and I said something to the effect of "It must really stink for those people on the other side of the ocean where the waves go out instead of coming in." Once my family members stopped laughing, I learned the truth about waves.
when i was i guess 5 or 6 i believed that when we went to the beach in gulf shores alabama, there was this guy named johnny that made the waves from a computer now johnnys waves were always the good ones and sometimes his brothers bill or another sibling would get on and mess things up and they made the crappy waves so everytime a good wave came me my brother and my moms friends 2 boys would say thatnks johnny!
im not sure where it came from maybe watching too much johnny quest on cartoon network when i got up in the morning to go 2 kindergarden not sure
In childhood I used to belive that we, all human live inside the earth. There is giant hole on the top of the earth and we see the stars through that hole. I used to believe that all the Rockets to Moon had to pass through that hole to go to Moon.

i used to believe the atmosphere had a door and a code like in spaceballs and when spaceships went through it they could only go through that door.
when i was 4 or 5, i got a little fun necklace you could (supposedly) grow plants in. The necklace was like large locket and came with seeds and this gel that helped the seeds grow. I believed that if your hands touched the gel, that plants would grow where ever you touched it! i remember FREAKING out because i touched it haha! but i found out i was worrying over nothing because i was fine afterwards.
When I was 8 I've read about black holes. Black hole sucks everything... I thought it's inside my toilet.
i used to believe that all the people stayed inside the round earth because if we stayed on the earth then there are chances that we might fall down(because of its round shape!!)
i used to believe that when it started to thunder it was santa moving his toys around

i believed fresh bales of hay left to dry in the fields were cow cemeteries
After I had learned that plants were living things, I came to the conclusion that they could think! I remember looking at a tree and wondering what it could possibly be thinking about. I also wondered how plants felt about staying still ALL THE TIME.

I used to beleive that God painted sunsets everynight as was an artist like me. I always thought snow was his way of wiping the canvas clean too..
I used to believe that a tornado was the Big Bad Wolf (from Three Little Pigs) driving around in a police car. Living in Kansas, we had quite a few tornadoes... One, in particular, came pretty close to our house. When the warnings were issued, my mom called me in from playing outside, but before I could go in I had to go to the end of the driveway and look down the street for the "tornado". I told my mom I didn't see it coming, but had to go in anyway. Imagine my surprise when I saw the real thing!
