I thought Hurricane Dennis (in 2005) and the character Dennis from the Spongebob movie were related somehow.

For some reason, I thought the word “holly” wasn’t used to signify a genus of plants, but used to abbreviate “holiday(s)” as an adjective, or created to rhyme with “jolly.”

I used to believe that the moon followed our car wherever we went, and that if we drove fast enough, we could actually catch up to it.

When I was a child, I used to believe that clouds were made of cotton and that I could lie on them like a soft bed. I imagined floating high above the world, surrounded by white fluff. Later, I learned they were just tiny drops of water, but sometimes I still like to pretend they’re as soft as I once thought.
