In a picturesque way, I used to think that a meadow, instead of being one whole field, was just a corner of one, preferably next to a pond, with a small bump as a mini hill.

I used to believe that there were monsters or spirits in the darkness, so for that reason I did not like it, in fact, I was afraid about being alone and walking through a passage when it was dark, hence I had to ask for company in order to feel safer

I used to believe that skyscrapers were actual people that went on top of tall buildings and scraped the sky because the people couldn't see out of the sky windows. No one ever told me that they weren't people but those really tall buildings and I had to find it out myself.

I used to think an earthquake was an "earth cake" and I would picture a big cake made of dirt. So when my parents were watching the news about the earthquake that happened in our town on TV, I would think the ground would shake a lot and make a cake shaped thing. I never knew how it was possible

I grew up in the city, where at night there are a lot of city lights, but very few stars in the sky. After a camping trip, where there were no city lights but so, so many stars in the sky, I believed that city lights were stars that fell to the ground.

When I was about 5, we used to go to my grandmother's house. She lived in a village, where was a place, where the was an echo. We always shouted, and heard the resound. Once I asked: How it works? What is this phenomenon exactly? She said: On the otherside there's a child, who shouts back the same words. (It was easier to say this for a little child.) I always tried to see him, who "lived" next to the forest on the otherside, but actually I couldn't make it out whether there was standing or not.xD

I was deathly afraid of moss. I think it reminded me of bugs which I was also deathly afraid of. Outdoor time was fun in my family.
