thunder and lightning

Once when i was little there was a thunderstorm and i asked my parents where it came from. They said it came from iowa. I thought there was this person called Mr. Iowa who made all the bad weather and i went and asked him to stop it.

One night when I was young, I believed that if I went into my mom's room it would stop the thunder from the storm outside. I went into her room and got in her bed, but to my surprise the thunder didn't stop. I never tried that again.

I believed for years that the world would end during a thunderstorm, because my first grade teacher (a nun of course) told me when the world ended, God would come down with the thunder and lightning and take up the good people. For years I cried and trembled during thunderstorms. I still freak out a little even though my head tells me to quit being ridiculous.

when i was little my mum told me i was a naughty girl and whenever i was naughty there would be a storm and i was alwayz scared of the thunder so i was alwayz a good girl from that day. now im alot older i realise that it was all alot of rubbish.

i used to get scared during thunder storms when i was little because for some reason i thought the noise was really giants playing bowling down the driveway

When i was little, my mom told me that when it thundered and lightened that Mother Nature and God were bowling and whenever lightening stuck, somebody knocked down all the pins and when it thundered really loud that Mother Nature was losing and she was getting mad.

Iused to believe that when it rains god was crying and when it thundered god was mad at my mom dad and sister. I sure did get worried. When it was sunny god was relaxed. When airplanes went by i thought god was snoring...REALLY LOUD!

I used to believe that thunder was god playing the drums and lightning was when a lightbulb in gods house burnt out, and it would flash. Then when I got a little oler, I thought that thunder was clouds banging together.

I remember the nieghbors telling me during a thunder storm that the noise was bombs & since they had a fence around there yard they would'nt get bombed. I went home & that night the storm got closer & closer , so i ran in my parents room & was hiding under the bed crying.
