My older brothers told me that if it rained and the sun was shining, the rain was radioactive! So whenever it happened, I would run for cover as fast as possible so I wouldn't get "radiation poisoning."

I used to believe that weather was created by God on a large computer. He used to push buttons to create the weather experienced.

I also believed that thunder was created when the gods went bowling. The lightening came when ever one of them got a strike. Rain was when he was sad and crying. Wind came when god had "gas". Snow came when god had dandruff..

Due to a father's brief history lesson one cold night, I firmly believed that the next Ice Age was going to happen overnight, with continent-sized glaciers at my door when I left for school one morning.

I used to believe that when it was foggy outside, that meant that the clouds had lowered themselves to "human level". I thought this because I had remebered that when I was flying in a plane, and I looked out the window, and it looked like the fog and my parents said we were flying through the clouds, so I just assumed...:)

I used to believe that if I looked out of the window in the early hours of the morning when it was just getting light, I could see a big evil looking eye in the sky (it was obviously a cloud I'd once seen!) which was staring directly at me.

I vividly remember seeing it in the sky! This freaked me out for years...
