When I was younger I was convinced that ET lived in the city water towers (they kinda look like a UFOs).

Every time we would pass one in the car I would point and shout "That's where ET lives, right mommy!?" She'd just agree.

When I was little and we'd drive home at night from a family member's house or supper, I always thought the moon was following our car.

For some reason unknown to me, whenever I would walk down the street I would make sure that whoever I was walking with (usually my dad), would stay on the same sides of objects as me, such as signposts and mailboxes, I was convinced that if we passed such objects on different sides, I would dissapear from on the other side to my dad and go into another world exactly like ours so I would never know the difference.

I used to think that radio towers that have the huge white satellite round things was where the band would play from and the drummers would drum on the satellites(they looked like drums)

When I was a kid, a local window blind company's dellivery trucks had a sign on the back that read, "Careful, blind man driving." I thought they were so kind to hire the handicapped!

i used to believe that when you moved they would put your house on wheels and just pull it to a new place. I really wasn't even that young i was like nine and now i'm 13

I used to believe that there was a mansion in my neighbor's backyard. They had about an acre of woods, and the noises I thought were coming from 'the mansion' were really coming from some apartments behind their land. I don't even know where that idea came from! :-p

I used to belive that there were lobsters in the pool filter and people would take them and eat them, I dont know why i guess it looked like a lobster trap!

When I was younger, I lived in the city. So, naturally I never saw a UPS man. When I was around 7yrs. old, I moved to a small town. I asked the neighbor kid about the UPS man and he told me that whenever I saw the UPS truck, I had to run. When I asked him why he told me that the UPS man was a child-stealer. For months, I would run in fear of the UPS man. Until one day, my mom saw me running away and told me the truth.

With many thanks to my father, I believed (well into my teens) that water towers were in fact, Beer towers. Love You Dad.Jen

I used to believe that when you drove a car, the tires turned the earth, so it amazed me how two cars could pass each other. I thought it was because the road had two parts, one for each direction.
