I used to believe the world used to be black and white and everything in the world was painted because when I was little my grandpa told me the hardest part of life a long time ago was watching stop lights going from gray to gray

I was about 6 when my youngest brother was born, and I remember thinking that Nathaniel was the stupidest name I had ever heard, and that it was temporary until my mom could think of a better one. I even asked her if that was his real name.

I thought Fidel Castro had died.... Turns out he was just really sick. I was like 17 at the time too :P

My mom used to tell me that when actors kiss on TV they have a clear tape on their lips so their lips actually don't touch. I believed that. till I saw french kissing. ew.

when I was a kid my brother used to tell me that a priest will come out of my wound. The larger the wound is, the larger the stuff that will come out, for ex: a bus or an airplane for bigger wounds. So when I get a wound, I don't really cry because it hurts; I was afraid of the things that will come out of it.

when I was a kid, I found a scale in my leg. I thought I am turning into a mermaid, thought about it for a while then I scratched it off. After that i regretted what I did and always thought, "I would've been a mermaid right now If i didn't scratch off that scale" turns out it was just dry skin.

When I was younger my brother told me that if i went up to the tv screen and looked down i would be able to see the bottom half of the actors' bodies.

I used to believe that no one in the world could have the same name as someone else. When I still believed this, I had a friend named Michael Douglas, so every time the actor Michael Douglas was brought up, I thought they were talking about my friend and that, when not at school, he was a famous actor.

When I was in elementary school, I used to think that you only had one birthday every other year. My parents were confused once when I told them I didn't have a birthday that year, because I already had one last year.

I was the oldest child and the only girl in a family with four children. We traveled across a certain road quite often with our parents. Along this road was a hand-painted sign that said "Fill Wanted", asking for people to dump unwanted rock and soil to fill in a low, wet area on someone's property. After passing the sign one day, my middle brother, who had recvently acheived the milestone of reading, asked, "WHO is Fill (Phil)???"

when i was small a girl in my nusrey told me i looked like her barbee doll (still dont c the resemblence) n i was thrilled 4 the next few yrs i told ppl i was going to be a barbie doll wen i grew up then some1 told me barbee had a boyfrend (boys were grose bak then) so i decided to join the circus insted

my grandpa was slightly overweight. I asked why he was so round. His reply was that he was preganant. I then waited 5 years for his baby and talkign to it whenever I saw him. It seemed logical since I knew about male seahorses.
