I used to believe people's nicknames were actually their names. I knew people with names like Peaches, Nena, Chabella, Cisco. There are people whose real names I never even knew. I remember one guy who must be in his late 50's now who was always called Baby.

When my cousin was younger his name was Alexander and he thought his middle name was "ander"
I thought you only grew taller and bigger on your birthday. I would go and stand up against the wall ruler several times during the day of my birthday and check how much I had grown in the last hour. Figuring out that I grew all year long was harder to process than finding out Santa wasn't real.

When I was six years old, my teacher once told me that if you would make a funny face at twelve o'clock at night, your face would stay like that forever. As a small child, I believed it, ofcourse. From that moment I wouldn't dare to look other then normal at twelve o'clock at night (that's IF I was up that late), untill I was about nine.

To which I responded with, "Their for my birthday" I don't remember exactly what was said after that, but I did know the reality.
i thought Anon was a member of this web site; as if he was a moderator or administrator or something!! It never crossed my mind that Anon over here was the only person on the entire site with an account.

When I was about 3 or 4, I remember my grandmother introducing me to some acquaintance of hers and telling me to "say hello to the nice gentleman." Since I had never seen this man before, I thought that "gentleman" meant the same thing as "stranger." I didn't say anything to the gentleman because I had been taught never to talk to strangers. My grandmother gave me a talking to afterward about being rude.

Until several seconds ago, I thought Anon was a name. I was browsing through thinking "Wow, so many Anons. I've never met one..."
I was reading through this site and I saw that someone named Anon had submitted most of the beliefs. I was thinking maybe they had created the site and were trying to make it have lots of beliefs on it. I saw that you could click on their name, so I thought I would go check their "profile" out and see if they were a moderator or something. I clicked it and up comes a box "This belief has been submitted anonymously."
I was like "Ohhhhhhhh! I get it!"
I'm a natural blonde.
