I used to believe…

Well, when I was a kid I guess I'd heard everyone talking about the 'gun' they use to put the studs into your ears when they pierce them for the first time. So up until the time I actually got my ears pierced in about grade 3 I had this weird, scary picture in my head of an old western style house with a porch out front, and you stand at one end and the piercer stands at the other and they carefully aim a nailgun-like thing and shoot your ear from a distance. Freaked me right out.

When i was young, my parents told me that if i did something wrong they would know, because God wrote it on my forehead in invisible ink, that only parents could read...so whenever they saw me rubbing my forehead raw, they would look around to see what i had done.

I used to beleive that no-one was born on the same day of the year. i was 4 when my cousin was born on my birthday, i thought that i would have to die because someone was born on my birthday and that there could only be one person born on that day!

I remember on the bus home from town and we were going past that field that sometimes have cows in. I was about 5 at the time and my mum pointed to the cows and said "Look! Nanny Pams!" And I actually thought they were called that, and one day I was with my nanny pam, going past some cows and..well you can probably figure out the rest XD

my mum also made me believe as a kid that if I didn't brush my hair Carrots would grow out of my hair, thus leading me to believe carrots were grown out of unbrushed hair and picked out to be eaten.
I didn't eat Carrots for a while after that

I have had many surgeries over the first ten years of my life. I am now eighteen. My neurologist's name was Dr. Grant. I never knew his first name but when I was younger I assumed his name was Ulysses because of the Ulysses S grant in history. I asked my mom when I was six if it was the same guy. I was shocked to find out that he wasn't.

After going to a lot of Indian restaurants and being a huge fan of Indian food, I thought that everyone of Indian descent was born with a dot in the middle of their forehead.

reading the bits on this site... i continually saw "Anon" on some of the articles..... i thought it was a guy that had a very wild imagination.... but i just now realized that it means anonymous.....

When I came to this website first, I saw the name "Anon." I thought the name was highlighted because they gave their e-mail or something. I figured it was some really dumb person with an extremely contradictory life.

I used to tell my little brother that, because his star sign was Cancer, that when he turned a certain age (his next birthday usually) that he would get Cancer and die...not the funniest of jokes now I come to think about it...I also used to tell him he'd turn into a girl as we are all born boys, but turn female at some random birthday when "it" falls off!

When I was 5 my cousin told me a story about his friend, Ryan Jackson. I dont know what the story was about because before he could finish I asked if Ryan was related to Michael Jackson. When my cousin said no, we got into an argument because I thought no one in the world could have the same last name unless they were related.

I have been checking this site daily for about a year and a half. I thought Anon was a person that liked posting their beliefs too much and often gave them the negative check when their beliefs didn't make sense or were too different. I just found out it is really anonymous. Opps, sorry.

Since my parents brought me into this world, I thought they decided when my birthday would be influencing when I'd get presents. I'd get mad when my mom said that the day I asked her wasn't my birthday, thinking that she just didn't want me to get presents every day.
