I was about 10 or 11 when I first heard of Marilyn Manson. This was also the first time I'd heard of the name Marilyn, so I thought it was a man's name.

When I first saw a picture of Marilyn Monroe I was shocked to see he was a woman!

I used to believe…

About seven seconds ago, I was going through all of the sections of this site, and I kept seeing things with the name "anon" at the bottom. All the time, I was thinking, "This anon guy must've been one messed up kid, to think this many weird things!"

I noticed sometimes anon would be capitalized and sometimes the anon would be living different places, and IT CAME TO ME! ANON MUST MEAN ANONYMUS!!!!!!

I am about the most blonde person on this planet...

I used to believe that people with certain combinations of names, like "Carla" and "Melissa", for example, or like "Tammy" and "Lucy" were mutually invisible to each other, couldn't interact with each other in any way, and would be totally unaware of each other's existence. But then later I knew of a Carla and a Melissa who were each other's best friends. So they clearly knew about each other and interacted with each other. So after that I gradually got over that belief.

I used to believe that because my birthday was on the 3rd of July and my sisters was on the 20th of June....that my birthday should come before hers because 3 comes before 20. hahaha it wasnt until years later that i realized you had to fit the months into the equation as well LOL.

I go to this site a lot.

And I got SO SICK of this guy named ANON posting his beliefs! Give someone else a chance will ya?! Gosh Anon you're going crazy with your "I used to belief"s!

Today my sister told me Anon stands for anonymous. T_T

I used to think if I closed my eyes and crunched up into a little ball on the floor, I would somehow camaflouge into my surrounding and no one would be able to see me.

Let's just say I wasn't too good at hide and seek...

I also assumed this position whenever I wanted to pick my nose.

I used to think that if someone had the last name which was also a color (White, Black, Brown, etc.), that'd also be their hair color. One day I was watching "Super Password" and some brown-haired guy with the last name of Green was a contestant, and I was very confused. Mom had to explain it quite carefully to me.

I used to believe…

When I was four, I saw one of the day care workers put on foundation.

Because it looked so much like skin, I then thought that the foundation itself was fake skin and that you put it on to prevent your skin from falling off. So I believed that when I got older like the workers, I would have to use foundation to prevent my own skin from falling off.

I used to believe…

When I was little, my ma made me go to Sunday School. For whatever reason, I got the idea that if you told a lie, then God would punish you. I once told a friend who had inadvertantly told a lie (she said she hadn't touched something when she accidentally had), that God would come round and burn down her house and kill her parents because of what she'd said.
Scary preaching Kid! It's a good job I don't believe in God anymore...

I used to believe…

When I was very young my parents used to tell me I was found under a rock. Naturally, after being told this for years I believed it.
All was fun and games till we were at a grocery store when I was eight and an old friend of my mom's asked where I came from.
