I was too scared to go to the bathroom, at night, because I thought there was a monster that would jump out of the bath tub and attack me.

No wonder why my parents were so frustrated in the morning...

When I was young I used to believe that Princess Diana died because her name was Diana. (like Die+Anna)
I thought that anyone called Diana would die young and I couldn't understand why anyone would want to name their child a name with the word Die in it

When I was younger I had a book of poems that my parents used to read me. A few of the poems said they were written by 'anon' (anonymous) - I thought 'anon' was the name of a famous poet! A few years later my teacher asked me who my favourite poet was and I told her "Anon. I like Anon. I think he's very talented"

She had to explain to me what Anon actually meant...

I used to think that every country had a queen or king, and I thought that George bush was the king of America.

I used to believe that i was the only person with the name Freddy, and when i met another boy named Freddy, i got upset because i thought he stole my name!

I used to think there was a name that was spelled "Shopan" and pronounced that way and a different name spelled "Chopin" but pronounced "Choppin", like choppin' wood.

I saw the name "Chopin" in books at the library and I heard "Shopan" being said out loud on the radio, but i didn't realize those were the same name, until someone asked me what my favorite music was. She said she liked "Shopan"'s piano music and i said i liked piano music too, but I've only heard "Choppin"'s music. She laughed and told me the whole thing!

I used to think that if you wore underwear made for the opposite gender, you would become the opposite gender. My brother wanted to be a girl, so i gave him a pair of my underwear and he wore it but didn't turn into a girl. He was so disappointed...

I used to think that i was older than my sister because my birthday came first(my birthday is on March 14 and my sister's is on September 17)

I used to think that Anon was a person.

I used to think that you had to change your name when you got older, because i never saw any kids named Bertha or Sharon or any adults named Zoe or Ryan or something like that. I thought I was special because my name could be both a "kid" and "grown up" name so i didn't have to change it. I believed this until i met a walmart employee named zoey!

When I was 6, I saw a clown on TV. I believed that clowns were a separate species and they wore that make up all the time. I always wondered why i never saw clowns at walmart or anywhere like that.

I believe It used mainly on one thing every child when it is small believes, Santa Claus. Believe that he would enter the chimney with his reindeer, they would eat all the food that we put there. Other very common things are to believe in fairy tales especially in the Pinocchio tale that many parents use as an example for the child not to lie, but because his nose would grow. These are some of the things I believed when I was a kid.

My dad told me that the TV only worked when it was raining. It didn't rain that much in my town, so i would get really excited when it would rain and I'd be able to watch TV all day when it rained, instead of going outside and playing in rain.

I thought it was real and it copied my every move. when I was little I didn't believe that it was another world but still in our world but the other side of the wall and the person in the mirror was my unbiological twin

When i was at walmart, i saw an employee at the checkout counter and i looked at the name there that says "La-a" on it and I pronounced it la uh but she told me it was pronounced ladasha. The dash isn't silent.

When I was 7 and discussing the lion king with my friends, my best friend somehow got this idea that you could become a warthog if you got too many warts. He just guessed that and we believed it.

Me and my friends liked the Lion King and wanted to be a warthog like Pumbaa, so we tried a lot of methods to get warts. First, we tried using diaper rash cream and hand soap together on our arms and legs to get a wart. It didn't work. Then we tried other ways we could think of. They all failed. My best friend told me that we might get warts tomorrow and the day after that we'll become warthogs.

We all got excited and couldn't wait until 2 more days! I woke up the next day and checked myself in the bathroom, I didn't get a single wart! I just got a small rash on my arm. Then the day after that, I expected myself to turn into a warthog in the morning. I didn't. Then after I went outside, my friends were there and they had rashes on their arms too. When my mom asked us where we got the rashes, we said we were trying to gets warts to become warthogs. My mom told me that you can't become a warthog no matter what you do, and that the methods we tried caused us to get a rash. We felt stupid and got so disappointed.

TL;DR:Friend convinced us that we could become warthogs, we got rashes instead, and got really disappointed when our mom told us the truth.
