When I was in grade school, we moved in to a new house. About 5 miles away was a mall & on the big sign outside of the mall where they would put "messages" or sales they had HAPPY BIRTHDAY on it just before my birthday. My family decided it was "cute" to tell me that they had it done for ME!!! It turns out that the mall had been put up around my birthday 8) ! Imagine how disappointed I was when I found out it was the malls birthday & NOT mine they were referring to!

When I was little, our paperboy would come every morning. His name was Brad.My mom would always say, "Hi, Brad!" whenever he came in. I confused Brad with bread for some reason and i sometimes couldn't remember what the difference between bread and toast was, so one day he came to our door and I yelled, "Hi, Toast!" really loud so he heard.
He's never really liked me since.

Not long ago I saw the film in the video shop and decided to watch it to find out what had terrified me so much. I'm 5 years older than my sister. Even so, when I was around 10 she could still get me in trouble with my mum by saying 'he did it' these were invariably lies.. I convinced her that her eyes turned from blue to green when she lied. Boy this worked a treat - from then on she covered her eyes up when 'snitching' to mum... Problem solved :-). She's 30 now and still cant tell a porky without averting her eyes somehow.
