My sister was a year older than me. At some point (probably when I was 3, she 4), I told my mom that I wouldn't wait until next year, when I would get a chance to be a girl and see what it was like.
i once thought that some days your face changed to look like someone else's
i decided one day on my way to nursery, that i looked like this girl who i didn't like and refused to go in (involving kicking and screaming). my mum didn't make me go but she was furious because i wouldn't tell her why.

When I was little my older brother used to tell me that I was mintally retarted and I believed him for the longest time...and then one day I asked my mom if I was and she told me that I wasn't and my brother got in trouble for making me believe it!!!
I used to believe that lies can get bigger and bigger if you hold them in. So when my sister went up to me and asked if i forgot to flush the toilet. I said "YES! I AM SORRY! I PROMISE I WON'T DO IT AGAIN! I WON'T HOLD IN THE LIE ANYMORE! IT WILL GET BIG AND I WILL BLOW UP!!!"
I've always ha d a little pop belly (I still do), all my friends had them too, so when I went off to school and us girls were playing house and we all pretended we were pregnant, it came as a shock when one girl lifted her shirt and she had a huge belly, and another was as flat as a board. After that I was stumped, "Why did these girls look different?" I came to a conclusion, they were other animals, not humans because humans all have pop bellies.
i moved to a new town when i was little and most of the kids and teachers had brown hair brown eyes. i thought i had my blonde hair and green eyes because i wasnt from that town

All races other than those of Asian origin had exactly the same facial features. The only thing different were the hair color and texture, and skin color.
I used to believe that a "tattoo" was a bar of soap. My kindergarten teacher told us that getting a tattoo would make us go crazy. My mom was giving me a bath, when I started screaming once she picked up the soap. I was screaming "DON'T GIVE ME A TATTOO! I DON'T WANT TO GO CRAZY!"

When I was little I got so mad because I was making a sign that said "Happy Birthday Katie" and my dad said that birthday was spelled birth day like on the day you were born.I got so mad that I started screaming and crying all because "birthday" was spelled "birth day". haha
I used to believe…
When I was little I didn't really understand the concept of a 'Birthday'. I knew it happened once a year but I didn't think it had a set date so every year i'd ask my mum what day my birthday was on.
I have brothers who are quite a bit older than me. When I was 3 or 4, there were a few books on my brother's bookshelf that I was told would hurt me if I opened them. I remember being 7 or 8 and my mother and I were cleaning off the shelf. She reached for the Fred Flintstone book and I began screaming, "Don't open it! Don't open it!" I thought a razor blade (the most deadly thing I knew of then) was going to fall out of the pages.
What a cruel way to keep your baby sister from coloring in your books.
I thought that babies were born with baby clothes including the bib. I thought that babies were so innocent that they can't arrive in the world shamefully naked, as nudity to me was the synonym of unprecedented perversion.

When I was younger, and used to play hide-and-seek, I used to think that nobody could see me if I couldn't see them! Wonder why I always lost that game, seeing as I would just stand in the middle of a room and close my eyes!
