My little sister used to pout a lot when she was young. I told her that if she kept pouting, her lower lip would get bigger and bigger until it reached to her waist. A few minutes later, I caught her trying to suck her lip back in to make it smaller!

When I was a kid, I made my friend believe that if he ate mud, he'd turn into the Incredible Hulk, like I did, and would become as strong as me...and he ate all the mud he could come across...
i used to think i was the coolest kid in the school because i was allowed to wear my older brothers clothes that didnt fit him anymore. i was informed on my first day of high school by an older lad, that the clothes i was wearing was around 6-7 years old, and that they was 'hand-me-downs' . i asked him what are those, and he said it was all the clothes nobody wanted anymore. i was around 12 years old when i finally found out i was being cheated, and demanded my parents buy me real expensive clothes.

My brothers convinced me at the age of 6 to touch an electric fence. They insisted that if you used a peice of grass to touch the wire it wouldn't shock. I was knocked off my feet while my brothers laughed for days. I'm not bitter. I hardly ever think about it now.

When I was about 7, there was this paper-boy whose name was "Perumal". Later we went to live at another place and there was some other paper-boy. One day I was telling my dad something aobut this paper-boy and I kept calling him "Perumal". I used to believe that one who brings paper is called "Perumal", like one who gives medicine is called doctor!

We had first grade reader books that used the characters "Tom", "Dick" and "Jane" that described their family adventures. These were not uncommon names in the 50s, and I actually had brothers named Tom and Dick. For a while I believed that all families must have someone named Tom and Dick if they had boys, since those were the names in the reader book.

My brother would believe that someday I would catch up to him in age! He would be so angry with me on my birthday, because he thought that meant I would catch up to him and pass him and then I would be older than him!
He was 3 yrs older than me. My birthday came a few months BEFORE his. So, I would turn a year older, but he would still be the same age. I would turn 4 and he would still be 6 yrs old. He didn't realize that in just a few months he would be 7 yrs old and all would be right with the world...until my next birthday! ROFL

When I was about 6 years old I thought that if you repeated a lie to yourself for several minutes that it wasn't a lie anymore. I learned that I was really mistaken when I was caught doing something that I had lied about.
I used to watch Sailor Moon so much i was convinced I was her. I stood ontop a car once and tried to transform. i was sure that if i didn't whisper my transformation words but screamed them out and threw my hand up like Sailor Moon does I'd transform. I was shattered when no matter how much I tried I couldn't transform. I even got a tiara and learnt how to throw it like Sailor Moon, but still *sniffle* i never became Sailor Moon
