I attended a Christian school, where they told us that, come Judgment Day, every thing we'd ever done would be shown to everyone who ever lived (like a movie), and that we would be terribly ashamed when all of our sins were revealed.

I kind of believed this. But even at the age of 11, I thought "Well, if we all have to watch ALL the sins of ALL the billions of people who have ever lived -- by the time they get to me, everyone will be too bored to pay attention.

When I was small I visited some family member's grave in the cemetery with my grandma. At the entrance of the cemetery there was a cross. I asked my grandma, to whom does that cross belong, because I thought it's someone's grave. She answered that it belongs to Jesus. I was so proud that Jesus was buried in my hometown.

One Christmas eve my brother convinced me that the pope was Baptist. He told me everytime our dad used the expression "is the pope catholic" that he was really using it to say no instead of yes. On Christmas morning when asked if I liked my presents I responded "well, is the pope baptist." I recieved many confused looks and my brother laughed histerically.

I use to believe that everything on television was real. One day in school my teacher asked us if anyone had anything they wanted to pray about, and I said yes, and told her all about the terrible accident I saw on CHPS, remember with Erik Estrada, that's when my teacher clued me in that that wasn't real.

I thought a Catholic was someone who went to church and a Protestant was someone who didn't, so I said My Mom's a Catholic, but my Dad and I are Protestants.
