Okay , for this one I have to give you all a little background. I am an Episcopalain(Catholic Lite), and we believe that when we take communion, that the Bred turns into the Flesh of Christ, and the Wine turns into the blood of Christ
Well for the longest time I thought that since it did that, then we as Episcopalians, were Canibals and Vampires.
I still believe in the blood and flesh thing, but after I talk with our priest I don't believe we are Canibals or Vampires

I used to believe that there were two different pasts that everyone argued about: the dinosaur age and what happened in the bible. I heard that people argued about which one was true and which was false. Well, i knew that it had to be one or the other, because i could never imagine Jesus and a t-rex living together in harmony.

When I was 5, I yelled at my mom for giving me bad dinner, and then I stubbed my toe. So my mom was like-that's what God does when you're disrespectful to your parents. Now whenever I stubb my toe, I ask 'what did I do?'!

When I was a kid, for no good reason at all, when I pictured God in my head I would see John Denver's face. This image lasted well into grade school. I hadn't even listened to Mr. Denver growing up, I think I just saw him on TV and thought God looked like that.

When I was about 7 or 8, I went to Williamsburg, Virginia for the first time. When we went to the church, I thought the tour guide said "I will be your God" not guide because I wasn't used to the Southern accent. This confused me very much!

When I was about 3 or so, I used to believe that God looked like a rotting corpse with a Renessence King's crown, and a red robe. I didn't hate God in any way (never have never will), but I guess I imagined Him to be so was because He ruled a place where people are dead.

During the singing time portion of the childrens class at my chuch we would sing a song with the lyrics "I am a child of God, and so my needs are great." I believed the worlds were "and so my knees are gray." I was sad when I relized that my knees wre not gray, and therefore I wasn't a child of God.
