When I was like four I thought that you only had to go to your grade for one day then move on,and if you didn't learn it all in one day that you were held back.Well when I went to kindergarden the first day and the teacher said"I'll see you all tomorrow" I thought that I was stupid and I cried that night until I found out that I had to go all year.=]

During St. Patrick's Day one year, my teacher stapled a leprechaun that she cut out of paper to the wall and told everyone that she was finally able to catch one. Every once in a while, our teacher or a student would exclaim that it moved, and we'd all get excited. This got to the point where all of us were actually convinced that it was constantly moving. I didn't realize until a few years later that the leprechaun couldn't possibly have been able to move. Its arms and legs were stapled down! (Who knows when I figured out it wasn't even a leprechaun....)

Um, this is from a *book.* I can't remember the name of it, but it's from a book titled something like "A Thousand Paper Cranes" about a girl who emigrates from Japan to the US and gets leukemia.

I used to believe while I was growing up in Elementary school that "make up" exams were where we had to put on make up I was starting to fear that grade....

When I was going from Preschool to Kindergarten I thought hat it was pronounced Kid-in-a-Garden. I thought that it was a place where little kids grow plants and such. Either that, or children were buried and had to wait for plants to grow out of them. I soon found out the first day that this was not true.

When I was in the third standard, I used to believe that the very top floor of our school was for teachers to have their meetings and sleep and party and all sorts of stuff. I thought that students who went up there either got a nice prize or a nasty beating. When the 5th students and the 6th students went up to their classes, I though that such a lot of kids were very bad and a lot of them very good. Now I'm in the fifth standard, on the third floor. Now I know that teachers have real homes; I was so embarrassed!

until i was in 5th grade, i used to believe that teachers could read minds. When I was mad at a teacher I would wait until i was home t think mean things about them.

At school we have this fountain and the water in it is brown (it was built as some sort of water recycling project years ago) and my teacher in year 7 told our class it was coca cola. The other day I go to my friend "if i gave you ten bucks would you drink the coke from the fountain?" And she goes "You know its not actually coke right?" And I'm like "yeah...." I can't believe it took me that long to realise, I'm in year 12!!!! I'm 17 years old and for the past five years I'v e beleived that there was coke in the fountain!.....

This is not about me. This kid who used to sit next to me was very stupid. Sorry haha. One day the teacher was explaining how the earth spun so slow we couldnt see it moving. This kid jumps up and screams "YOUR WRONG THE EARTH SPINS SO FAST THAT WE CANT SEE IT MOVING!!!" he started to shake his head rabidly.... Then he cut my pants with a scissor... My oh my. Kids are freaky.
I used to believe that at an After School Detention the teachers would lock you into a closet and make you do your work.
