I used to believe…

when i was 6 my older brother told me there was a secret passage in the floor of his classroom that connected to Disney World! he told me that i couldnt go because i was to young to walk it by myself! i was so upset that i didnt get to hug Goofy...

I used to believe…

when i was young i thought that teachers were like witches ..they just teach and go away somewhere and return back to teach....i thought that they had no life....heheh

I used to believe…

In primary I used to think that at lunch time all that teachers used to talk about in the staff room was their students and tell bad stories about them and plot evil revenges. In highschool i made a teacher swore that her and every teacher at school never said a word about a student. Im a teacher now and believe me my highschool teacher was lying haha probably not as bad as i thought but none the less funny when i look back on it now.

i used to believe that if i let go of my lunch box in kindergarden, i would lose it FOR SURE. so i always held it with my right hand. so much, that the teacher took a picture of me holding it...every day for a year.

I had a dream that my sister got to eat in a very special canteen in our junior school, which had special food in it, thing is i didn't think it was a dream..
I kept asking my sister about it and asking her why she was so special and why she never came to 'our' canteen?
This went on for weeks until i had to get pulled aside by a teacher who showed me the room I thought was 'the special canteen'..turns out it was the cleaning cupboard!! oh dear I was embarrased!

I used to believe…

When i was little and in preschool, i was scared to go to the nurse because i thought she would have company, because, there was a bed, bathroom, sink, and a mini refrigerator, so i thought it was her house.

I used to believe…

When i was young, i went to a Christian School and we said the 3 plegdes every day and sang a couple songs afterward. I thought that you absolutely HAD to say the pledge or something bad would happen to you. When some of my friends would only mouth or not even say the pledge I thought they would die at any time or be taken away!!~!!

I used to think that my teachers at school didn't have lives outside of school. I was shocked the day I found out my teacher was married and had kids of her own.

when i was little,i always thought that school would be so much fun and i always wanted to go with my brother.

i used to believe, probably like many other kids, that teachers lived at school. i thought during the summer, they just camped out at their desks. i was proved wrong when i saw my fifth grade teacher at the mall in victoria's secret..... buying a thong. i was never the same.

I used to believe…

When I was like 4 and in yr 1 we would have to tell our teacher what we were doing for lunch and give her our money to keep for us if we were buying it. However, there were children who didnt give her any money and got these little tokens which they got their lunch with. I was sooooo jealous of these kids as I thought it was like a secret group of which i desperatly wanted to be a part of. It wasn't until years later when this memory came back to me that i figured out that they were the children from poor families who couldn't afford to pay for lunch.

When I was little and first went to school I didn't know yet that I needed glasses to see distances. So when the teacher would write on the board I thought the writing was invisible and that everyone else was able to memorize the things the teacher had written. I wondered why I couldn't remember everything and was too embarrassed to tell anyone.

My dad used to think there was a spanking machine at school. You had to sit in a chair with 2 hand shaped paddles that continued at light speed until the red light turned on indicating you were sore. lol

When the teacher would tell a child,"I'll keep an eye on you!"
i though she meant that she will take out her eye and keep it on the kid so that whenever the kid did something naughty-laser would come out from the eye and kill the child!!
