I used to believe, and I still slightly suspect, that teachers made up everything they taught. They'd made up all the history stories, sums etc. and if you went to any other school, you'd be taught completely different things. I was amazed when my friend from another school knew about Henry VIII, and thought it was an amazing coinidence!

I thought teachers were only ever at school and all they did was teach, not even eat! Lo and behold one day my mom dressed me up and took me to church and to my shock my teacher was getting married and there were other teachers also at the wedding. I still dont know how they escaped from the school and the shock of the event still hasnt worn off... I wont even mention that I DO kiss....

Whenever I took multiple choice tests in elementary school, I would count up the number of A and C answers versus the number of B and D answers. A and C answers were good, but B and D answers were bad. I would get mad if I had more B and D answers, because then they had "won." I also got excited when I took tests with five choices, because E could help out A and C so that they would triumph over the evil B and D.

I had way too much time on my hands.

Science has never been my forte. In 5th grade it started getting particularly difficult. I was telling my mom how confusing it was to me, and she asked what I didn't understand about it. When I said, "The orgasms and all that stuff" she and my sister burst into laughter. "You mean organisms?" My mother replied. I didn't know what an orgasm was, but I was quite embarrassed.

when i was younger, i believed that if you didnt cover your heart while saying the pledge of allegiance...it was going to come out of the wall and stab you in the heart and kill you

I used to thing that durring the pledge of allegiance, when it says "And to the republic for which it stands" That they were saying "And to the republic for Richards Stands" I was always wondering who the heck Richard Stands was!!

I went to a private school until the 4th grade, and I belived that kids at public schools had a chain with a metal ball clamped to their shoeless feet as they roamed graffiti covered hallways with passed out junkies on the floor with needles sticking out of their arms. All the kids at public school wore filthy rags and had dirty messed-up hair. The teachers would beat them for no reason. Everytime I got in trouble at school my parents would scream "DO YOU WANT US TO SEND YOU PUBLIC SCHOOL?" I would cry and say no, I would beg them not to send me to public school.

when i was in school, we used to say "all indians are my brothers and sisters"....i never said that..i used to think if i say that then i wont be able to marry so cute girl which are there in my class.....

I believed that inside of every solid object (example: a desk) there were tiny workers who were always hammering and building on it from within. This belief was conceived when I put my ear up against my desk and heard loud banging and buzzing noises. I had no idea it was just the magnified noise in the classroom.

This is what I thought, seriously.
"I fled polience tooky crag and the unspited plates of bavaria, and to the peepubick to Richard Sands stands, one nation on the gods invisble with lizardy justin to malls."

I always wondered how it was that women could get bachelor's degrees. And I wondered how it was that my dad was trying to get one when he was married to my mom. I thought they were going to have to get divorced when he got his bachelor's degree.

when i was 5, my kindergarden teacher was really really mean. and from then on, i believed that teachers were the devils servants, writing notes home that they were going to face the head devil
(aka the princeapal) if they contuied to do this. 3 years later i found out that my belief was not true. my second grade teacher was really really really nice, and by that time, my kindergarden teacher retired.

so this belif lead to another one, the teachers that are the devils severants, retire earlyer that the non-servsants :-P

when i was little i used to belive teachers lived in the school and plotted world domination plan when the children i came to school on a saturday i saw a teacher in the school then for that moment on i belive teachers are evil and poor

When I was little I had a teacher with flaming red hair and long, long fingernails. One of my so-called friends told me one day, "Mrs. so-and-so got mad at a kid and grabbed his arm and her fingernails went into him and SHE KILLED HIM!" I was hysterical when my mom made me go to school the next day, and my friend got in A LOT of trouble!

I was about 4 years old and I was about to start school, I was terrified. Not because I was leaving my mom but because I was afraid of Ms. Trenchable, I was afriad she would put me in the Chokey, I had seen Matilda WAY too many times.
When I went I was so confused I didn't inderstand why I didn't get Ms. Honey and why Matilda wasn't in my class. I was convinced that Matilda and I were goign to be the best of friends.

When I was younger I was VERY short for my age. So when i was in third grade I was playing outside with all my friends and everything was going great, When it was time to go inside my teacher relized I had not yet come in. Well, I was inside, with the pre-schoolers. I tried to tell them I was in third grade and that I was just short for my age (I had a lisp). They didn't believe me and had me convinced that I was supposed to be a pre-schooler because of my size. News went around the school and when they asked me what my name was I told them, they told me they were sorry and began to take me back to the classroom. I was very angry, I kicked, I screamed because I didn't want to go with "the big kids"

When we used to recite the 'Pledge Of Allegiance' in first grade, I thought it gave special permission for Witches to set up vending stands, because it seemed to refer to "the Republic for 'witched stands' ".

When i was younger, i used to think that the headteachers office was full of little square cages and whenever somebody went to the headteachers office, they never returned because he used to shove them in a cage forever! lol xxxx
