I used to believe…

when i was in kinder we did firedrills alot and i would be scared to go to the bathromm becasue i wouldnt know when they were going to come on and i would hold my pee in all day.

I ued to think that you said the pledge like this. "I plege of a legenst, to the flag, of united states of america. And to the republince of witches stand, one nation under god, invisable, to liberty and justice for all. Up untill my friend corrected me after the pledge, I was so embarrsed! LOL!!!

when i was in preschool i used to think at night my teachers would watch me through my bedroom window, and when i went to sleep they would disect me and then put me back together.i dont kno why... im still a bit nerveous to this day... ;)

when I was about 5 I thought my friend was the same age as me untill she left pre-k to go to kindergarden. Then I thought she was smarter than me , so she got to leave earlier. So i started yelling at my teacher , trying to convince her I was just as smart as her. But when I was seven I found out why she really left. I was so embaressed!!!

when i was in second grade, i had a really mean teacher named Mrs.Murden, the thing is that she was so mean that her students called her mrs.murder. there was a rumor going around the school (that i truly believed) that she had once called a kid up to the front of the class and stabbed him in the forehead with a pencil. after that, i tried not to get called up to the front of the class

I thought the pledge went like this.

I pledge alligence to the flag of the United States of America. And to the rebublic of witchit stands, one nation, under God, invisible, with libery and justace for all.

So I only pictured a witch holding a flag and trying to find God because he was invisible..

One day at the super market, my older brother pulled down my pants. When I asked him why, he said it was because I bugged him. So on my first day of school, the teacher was telling us about something I already knew. So I walked up to the front of the class and pulled down her skirt.

When I was little in kinder, we started the year with a "practice fire drill" Which i thought of as what you would think a fire drill is.Then the next day we had a "real" fire drill, I thought they were gonna set the school on fire! :(

When I was in the 4th grade my teacher told me the definition to a word(I dont remember what word). Well, afterwards I looked it up in the dictionary and it was different from what my teacher said. I had so much faith in my teacher that I thought the dictionary was wrong! So I thought for a couple of weeks that the dictionary had mistakes in it, until he finally told me that he was wrong!

Up until I was in the second grade I understood multiple choice questions that asked "which number is bigger?" to mean which digits were larger. I would measure them with a ruler and circle the 'biggest' one. My 2nd grade teacher saw me doing this and asked why. When I explained she corrected me, saying they wanted the number that meant 'more'. DUH. Well hey, this sure simplified these tests!

It was in Kindergarten that we first learned The Pledge. A rather old teacher was talking about it and he said "he'd had friends that had died under the flag", and meant that they'd died fighting in a war. I thought that he meant that people had died of heart attacks while saying the pledge.

I accepted the fact that I could die at any minute during The Pledge, and never see my family again. After reciting it for months, and no one had died, I came to the conclusion that the teachers were just trying to scare us into saying The Pledge every morning!

I used to believe the pledge went like this: I pledge alligence to the flag of the United States Of America, and to the republic, witch it stands, one nation, under God, invisible, for liberey, and justice, for all. So when I pictured what happened during the pledge I saw a witch standing on the side of a cliff next to a flag looking down on what was a invisible nation, with God looking down.

When I was in grade school, I was convinced that a "Catholic" school (where I was) was really a special place for children with very low IQ's. The teachers and parents were all in on the big secret so that we wouldn't feel bad about ourselves.

when i was about 5 i would always go to this nursery that had black and wite floor tiles and i would always be scared to walk on the black because i was scaared i would fall in and i couldnt get back out

On her first day at school, I told my little sister to take a week's worth of clothes and that she was going to a boarding school.

She was very pleased to see me at the end of the first day

When I was in elementary school, there was an assembly. After one of the performances, one of the teachers yelled, "lets give these people a round of applause!" and she started clapping while moving her hands around in a circle, so I naturally believed that that was what a "round of applause" was. For years after that, whenever people mentioned a "round of applause", I would start clapping my hands in circles, wondering why no one else was doing it properly.
