i used to think that the four years of college were also known as the 13th, 14th, 15th, and 16th grades.

I used to believe…

When I was in Kindergarten, I went to the first grade class for reading because my reading level was too high for all the Kindergarten reading books. We would do these dumb little packets every week with questions about the story and vocabulary and all that junk. I would always make 100's. A few times, though, I would make 99's or 98's. I would be so scared that if my parents found out that I didn't make a hundred, they would yell at me and spank me. So I would throw the 99's and 98's away, never to be seen by my parents.

When I first went to school the boys bathroom was right next to our homeroom and the girl's was around the hall. I didnt know that the bathrooms were seperate so I tried to go in the boys and my teacher yelled at me. I didnt understand why I couldnt untill quite a while afterwords.

Before I went to school my sister tried to explain what it was. I thought that it was just one big room and hundreds of kids of all grades stood there while a teacher stood on a stage type thing a taught.

One time we had rice crispy treats and my teacher told us if we put the rice crispy treat on the napkin we would have to eat it (She did that so we wouldnt have the rice crispy treat on the napkin because then she thought we would make others do it) So then i put my rice crispy treat on my napkin.i was scared my teacher was going to make me eat my napkin so I started crying and crying and my mom had to pick me up early.

When i was in primary school we had to sing the National Anthem at Assembly.I was never actually taught the words so you had to follow everyone else's words and I thort I was singing the verse right until my mum corrected me one day. In the verse where it goes
"Our land abounds in nature's gifts" i used to sing "our land arounds in nature strips" i guess it describes the urban areas!!

in math class, the teacher would always write on the overhead, n when it became covered with marker, shed pull out her bottle 2 spray it n wipe it off. 4 awhile, i thought it was some poisonous fluid n i was so afraid 2 touch it. i had no clue that it was just water

I always thought that teachers were dumb ladies that were held back for so long that they had to learn with us. I just thought that they were very disruptive with their talking

When i was in thrid grade we used to sing a song called "John Jacob Jingle Himer Shmit" (Im assuming u all know where this ones going).....well, honestly i thought the song went "John Jacob Jingle Himer sh*t", so thats how i sung it and one time my teacher heard me and i got in trouble, A LOT of trouble she called in my dad...eeek!... but anyway, how was i supposed to know, i sang it like that for almost the whole year and no one said a thing.

my esperience is:when in my kindergarden,the teacher told us back&forth that if we did not behave ourselves,she would leave the kid singly in the classroom at night&in the evening,big wolf would come out:(
i was really hairy when heard of that,sooo i tried to be very obedient to the teacher&hoped i wouldn t be left in the room with the wolf,luckily,i never had that experience:)

In The Star Spangled Banner, when I was little I thought the first line was "Jose, Can you see?" instead of "Oh Say can you see?" I thought they were singing it to a Spanish boy...

When I was at school I used to believe that teachers didnt eat and that their always stayed at school / Now i'm teacher

I used to think that teachers didn't have first names, i guess it just didnt occur to me. Then, when they answered the phone with their real name i got so confused!! Especially since my science teacher's name was geraldine!!

in first grade i thought the pledge was "...and to the republic, for riches stands..." and i remember getting so mad at the girl next to me for doing "which it stands". i found out in 3rd or 4th grade i was wrong all along.

when i was little i thought that school was just a place where a bunch of kids sat down and the teacher told them random facts and they went home. psh i wish

My sister is eight years older than me and when i enter Kindergarden she told me not to use the bathrooms because all the kids wipped their snot on the walls of the bathroom, so i remember i wouldn't even go into the bathroom during school.
