When I was young like in 1st or 2nd grade i used to believe that the teachers lived above the ceilings of their classrooms or the hallways. So you can imagine my surprise one day when a) i saw the custodian and my teacher in her room on a ladder looking into the ceiling, i automatically thought that she and the custodian were married and lived up there and b) when the technician came and i asked him what is it like up in the teachers houses in the ceiling and he just laughed and patted my head... i later told my mom and she laughed and then told me the truth.
I pledge a legion to the flag of the indicted steaks of america. and to the repugnant, for richard stanz, one naked, under guard, in the lizardball, with liver, cheese and puffed rice for all!
yes...I said this....

When I was in second grade my friend and I thought our elementary school was being taken over by elves. There were these big storage rooms out by the fence where the elves lived. There were huge machines that the elves would opperate and control the teachers' minds. We would go around all recess carrying sticks looking for these elves to kill them. We had a club called the Elf-Haters Club. Lol

My Elementary School was a part of a University, so we always had student teachers, and there were mirrors near the cealing that people could see through, and could quietly observe. We called them the magic mirrors.
Whenever I wanted to do something bad, I couldn't, cause I was afraid that the monsters who sit behind the magic mirrors would eat me for being bad. I also thought that Santa used the magic mirrors.

my friend used to belief people who bought lunch were poor. she thought this because the people who bought lunch were all from apartments. (turned out, they were GOOD apartments, and it makes mroe sense to bring lunch if you're poor)

When I was little, my mom worked at a preschool. When I was three and was old enough to go to school, I went to the same school where she worked, so she knew all of my teachers. One the first day of school I came home and said to my mom "Do you want to hear something really strange?" She said yes so I said "All of my teachers have the same first name." Since she was friends with most of the teachers she knew that was not true. She said "Are you sure?" and I said "Yeah, they're all named Mrs!" My mom almost died laughing and still tells the story to the teachers at all of the school events!
i used to stay at school late because we gave a teacher a lift home, my mum would use the staff loo and i thought that this was the right thing to do. so the next day at school i used the staff loo but couldnt quite figue out why i had been told off because if my mum did it i thought it was okay to do so myself.

Until recently, my friend did not know what CCD was. When I told her I had attended CCD classes, she laughed and said, "You're such a retard!" I asked her why, and she replied, "Well, CCD is for dumb kids, right?"

When I was younger my father and mother were horrified when I told them that the teacher at school was teaching us about America and witches. Being devout Christains, they wanted to know why witches were being discussed with a pre schooler. Come to find out I had mistaked the "for which it stands" in the pledge for "for witches stand".
I used to believe that all teachers stayed at school every night and threw slumber parties with the other teachers because for some reason my old school used to always smell like popcorn. It was wierd.
I thought that when people had a 4.0 in school they got 100s in every single thing they did and they never missed a single question on anythingg

In first grade, my teacher had a blanket and pillow on the rug where she read the children stories. People said that the teacher used the blanket and pillow and slept on the desks at night and never went home. I believed this intill my mom finally said that my teacher had a life other than teaching children all day^_^

When i started school i really hated it and told my mum i didn't want to go any more. My mum told me that if i was a good girl and went to school monday - friday she would let me have saturday and sunday off. I was really pleased about this and so went to school monday to friday without any fuss. After a few weeks i got talking to the other kids at school about how lucky i was to have saturday and sunday off. This is when i found out that everyone had saturday and sunday off!!

A friend of mine went over to the US for a year, and because we live in Australia, we never had to say the pledge. At the parent teacher interview in the middle of the year, her mother said to the teacher, "Natasha's finally learnt the words to the pledge" and the teacher said "Oh, don't you say that in Australia?"
