There was once a wall stopping the kids from going into the school pond. On this wall there was some kind of commemorative plaque. Me and my friends were convinced that there was a dead body inside the wall and we tried to lift the top off the wall to see it.We were weird kids.

in Preschool I remember my first summer vacation I assumed that school was over and I was never going again. I was terribly excited when I learned a few months later that I was goig to be allowed to go back. Now, though, I think I probably would have been better off quitting while I was ahead.

When i was in nursery school (sorry guys i'm English, i think that's kindergarten or something for americans) i used to think that if u had your fingers in your ears no1 else could here you. Needless to say my teachers got very annoyed when i started shouting in the middle of classes. I was so schocked to find out that they could hear me too.

When I was 5 yeals old I used to think that high school was called high school because all the kids were so tall and high off the ground.
I thought that a "fire drill" at school was an actual drill that came out of the ground and caused fires! I was terrified and had nightmares about this until we actually had a fire drill.

When i was in infant school (aged 4 or 5) my grandparents were looking after me, not wanting to go, pretended being ill and whilst driving past my nan said that if they see me in the car, they would come out and get me. Needless to say i put my head down and kept it down until we past the school.

I used to believe that teachers lived in sleeping bags under their desks up until fourth grade.

you know those air vents in the ceiling above stalls in public washrooms? Well I used to think that there were monsters inside them that would eat me. I'd hold it at school and I peed my pants very ver often until about grade 4..it ws really embarassing.

In third/second grade, we always recited the pledge of allegiance before first period. In the part which says 'For which it stands', everyone would say 'For Richard Stanz', convinced that the chant was a dedication to some guy named Richard Stanz. Once day, there was a visitor who came to our school whose name was Rick Stantse, and he was plagued with questions about the pledge.

Through second grade I always concluded the pledge with '...indivisible, with liberty and just a straw.'

The year before I started high school (when I was about 10/11), my best friend's older brother told us that all the older high schoolers went & had sex on the 5th floor (used 2 be an attic) in the one & only classroom up there. I used to believe it & wonder if people would wait till they could go in or if they'd all just go in & use different corners or something! Aah, the days when u trusted others!

When i was little i used to hold my pen differently to everyone else, my teahcer told me if i didnt stop it and didnt hold it how everyone else, my fingers would drop off, so i used to hold it properly only when she was watching!
I used to think one of the main school rules (no running, hands to your self, don't talk when the teacher is talking, etc) included no whistling. But you've got to notice no one ever whistles in class and if the do the teacher gets really mad.

Until I got my kindergarden yearbook, I'd been convinced that teachers didn't have first names. Why else would you have to call them "Mrs." or "Mr."? Thank God that the yearbook listed the teachers' first names...

When we first learned the Pledge of Alligence, I didn't know that the word "indivisible" was a word. I thought the teacher always said it wrong, so whenever we came to that part, I said "...one nation, under God, invisible, with liberty and justice for all"
I was 4, so this was before I went to school. I had watched some court show with my mom and I believed that school was just like a court room with the judge being the teacher and all that stuff. GOD DAMN JUDGE JUDY!!!
