I used to think you could yell into a bag or jar and trap your voice...but it would only work if closed it fast enough.

When I was young, I thought that millions of little photographers and artists lived inside photocopy machines.
I once tried to feed the photocopy machine.
It broke.

One day when I was young, I asked my Dad where electrity came from and he said that is came from a wheel being pushed by water. I'm not sure why, but I guess I must have been looking at a mountain when I saw it because I beleived that electricty came from wheels in the mountain.

my friend used to have this "technique" for jumping off stuff. until he was about 13 he thought if you jumped off a high building and stayed close to the wall on the way down, you could push off with your feet right before you hit the ground and roll and you would live. he never tried it so unfortunately he's still alive.

when i was in junior high and we were driving home from camp, we passed all these windmills. my friend was wondering how they worked and we actually convinced her that there were people inside moving the propellers.

My father has always worked with computers, and when I was 5 or less, it was on of those old computers with black and green monitors and programs on a actual audio tape! That thing scared me to death because I thought it was alive and hated me.

1 My father used to let my older sister and I play that game called the "hanged guy", the one where you're supposed to spell a mystery word wright, unless the guy gets hanged. That thing scared me to death, and I had to run away before the man died and made that spooky sound.

2 When my parents punished me, they would lock me up in their room, where the computer was. I would bang like crazy on the door, crying and yelling, checking from time to times if the computer was getting closer to me because I thought he could eat me.... I'm better now, thank you.

When I was 4 I used to believe that we can do everying over the phone.Oneday my father called us and told me that he bought me a beautiful teddy bear so I insisted to give it to me over the phone and cried till I fell asleep

I used to believe that computers were powered by hamsters in wheels inside the case, because of the constant whirring sound. Then i found out it's not hamsters, it's guniea pigs.

I used to believe that if you put water in test tubes it would turn into whichever chemical the test tube was designed to make, so i was really dissapointed when i got one of those perfume making kits (with test tubey type things) and my mixture of water and water did nothing!

I used to think that giant electricity generating windmills were actually giant propellers that kept the earth spinning in the right direction.

I knew different things happened at different temperatures, but I didn't know the difference between Celsius and Fahrenheit. So if water boiled at 100 degrees, and if you had a fever of 102 degrees, that meant you were sick because you were above boiling.

I used to belive that the only factor that made a difference to how well a sailboat sailed was how pretty the sail was. As far as I could understand, any boat with a plain white sail --even a million dollar yacht-- couldn't possibly sail well.

I once asked my friend if he knew what kept everything down on the ground (meaning gravity). He said it was because the tables and chairs were so heavy that they held everything down.

I used to think that pneumonia and ammonia were the same thing. When my friend's mother was using a sink full of ammonia to clean some old combs, I thought we were all going to catch "ammonia".
