My mom told me when i was 3 that if you kissed a boy you were going to get pregnant. So no one could kiss me, and anytime my mom would kiss her boyfriend i would through a fit tell her she was pregnant.

One of my stupid friends didn't know what a blow job was until 8th grade. She thought it was an insult and went around calling people "blow jobs". Needless to say, she got some pretty wierd looks.

When I was 7 a little boy brought his brother's condoms to school one day (the whole box!). Everyone seemed really impressed. The kid even blew up one and let it fly around the schoolyard! Me, wanting to act cool, pretended I knew what they were, not knowing what they were or that they related to sex.
I used to believe that to give birth you simply pressed your belly button and the baby popped out! If only it were that easy!! well why else would it be called a 'button'! Also at a different stage in my life I was worried that the baby might accidently pop out while you were on the toilet!!

When I was a kid my best friend at the time confided in me that she was afraid her mom was pregnant. When I ask her why she thought that, she told me that her mom didn't wear underwear. When I didn't understand she looked at me like I was stupid and said, "don't you know pregnant women can't wear underwear?" Of course within 9 mos. we both realized she was wrong since her mom never did have a baby...lol

Because everyone told me babies were always born in hospitals I used to believe babies could only be born in hospitals and by caesarean section.

My mother is a baby boomer and when she was young, parents were very secretive and unapproachable when it came to discussions of puberty and sex. Naturally, it was fairly difficult to get accurate information about anything. When my mom was little and first heard that people had to have sex to have a baby, she was disgusted and confided this to her friend. The friend reassured her by saying, "That can't be true. My mother is having a baby, and Daddy is away."

When I was a wee little girl, I thought a woman got pregnant by having a man stick a finger in her belly button. I then figured that women who have 'outie' belly buttons aren't able to have babies.

When I was like 8 or 9, I thought that the only way that a woman could be pregnant, was if a man peed on a womans breast. Not true!

When I was little, I always thought the pad despenser in public bathrooms gave you sugar cubes. I'm not sure why but I was always mad when my mom said I wasn't old enough to need one.

Ok, Well my best friend and I are both 15 so this is kinda sad. For English I a couple of weeks ago we had to come up with sayings you'd put on those candy heart things. Well, we could share them with the class. When it got to my friend, she said shag me. Well, they weren't supposed to be sex related and my English teachers eyes got HUGE. She looked at my friend and asked her if she knew what shag me meant. When my friend answered she said yeah it means kiss me. She didn't believe it meant have sex with me until the teacher told her.
I had a friend who i was staying with on her dad's lakehouse. Her dad's girlfriend brought along her kid who was like, 10. me and my friend were both 14. We both knew alll about periods and stuff. she had a tampon in her makeup bag and we were sitting in her room doing our makeup. The 10 year old Kyle, walked in and started talking to us. He was poking though her makeup bag and saw the tampon. He said "what's this?" and my friend said "lipgloss". we started cracking up when he left.

I used to think that if you had sex while you were pregnant that you would have twins, triplets, etc...based on the amount of times you had sex.

When I was about four, I heard my parents use the word sex and asked what it was. They were pretty direct and told me it was when a man puts his penis into a woman's vagina. The trouble? At this point I wasn't aware that the vagina was a hole (despite being a girl) or that penises could become erect, let alone able to intuit that any movement would be involved in this. So, my mental picture of sex was very weird for a while. Needless to say, I had no idea how someone came up with it or why people would want to do it.

when i was about 7 i had a neighbor that lived across the street and one day he came over to tell me that his cousin had gotten pregnant by taking childrens medicine. so from that day on i REFUSED to take children's medicine until my mom fully explained the whole sex process to me lol.

When I was 6, I asked my mom where babies came from. Not thinking I was ready for the "talk", she calmy told me that a mommy and daddy go to K-Mart and put a baby on layaway. In 9 months, they go and pick it up. No explanation on why mommies get so big. (I was 6, she was under pressure!) They straightened it out for me a year later when my sister was born, but to this day, the customer service desk in the back of K-Mart freaks me out.

When i was like 5-6 mayb I used to think sex in general was illegal.
I believed that sex was a bad word just like saying the f word or shit.
I also thought that if a boy got on top of a girl and humped her that was sex but their clothes had to be on.
