When i was small i asked my mom how you get pregnant and she said if you just thought of having a baby you can have a baby. Then after that, everyday I was scared for a long time that if I thought of a baby I might get pregnant and the fact that I was thinking of that meant that I was thinking of babies and god or w.e might get the wrong idea and think that i wanted a baby so id become pregnant. I thought about this everyday for a long time
I was terrified

well when i was a kid , i used to see my sister using sanitary tissues...she tried to hide them from me but as i was a curoius kid, i would try n peek into her cupboard.one day , not being able to hide my curiosity, i asked her what thay were for and she(not knowing what to say) told me that they were for feeding old people as they didnot have any teeths and could only suck liquid food...i kept this belief with me for a very long time untill i stumbled upon the truth...

When I was little I thought I had two bums because my mom referred to my vagina as my "front bum" and my actual bum to my "back bum."
Also, I thought that guys wore panties just like girls-I never heard of boxer shorts until grade 2 or 3 when my friends laughed at me for referring to a boy's underwear as his "panties" (they had little brothers which is probably why they knew the difference.)

When I saw scenes on t.v. where a woman would give birth (not graphic scenes- just hear the woman scream and a doctor would be there and then suddenly the doctor would be holding a baby) I thought the baby actually came out of the woman's stomach, I think one time I asked my mom how the doctor could get the baby out of the woman's stomach. She didn't really answer!
I saw pad advertisments on t.v. and thought they were for people with bladder problems since they could "absorb liquid" and gave "excellant protection at night."
When I was 11 and finally asked what pads were for, my older sister quickly explained it, but I was confused and thought that once you got a period, you had it forever, like you were going to bleed down there non-stop until you were old. Naturally, I was absolutely terrified of getting my period!

For years I thought that in order to get pregnent, a woman had to be "blessed" by God. I had a friend whose parents were never married, and I thought, "wouldn't it be terrible if God decided you should be pregnant if you didn't have a husband?". I thought that my dad was only part of the family legally; because he and my mom were married; I didn't think we were related biologically at all.

In fourth grade, the classrooms that my friend and I were in was in a different part of the school where all the older kids were. The first week of school was when we first saw the pad and tampon dispenser in the bathroom. Both of us were mystified at what was in there. So during lunch one day, my friend brought some quarters and dimes and we were going to investigate. First, the pads we figured were just for people who had a hard time making to the bathroom in time. The problem was we couldn't even guess what a tampon did so at the end of lunch, we hid the things under the teacher's desk. It was only until the next year that we had the sex education talk.

When I was little my television network would sensor the kinky and naughty stuffs e.g when a man and a woman starts kissing and undressing in the bedroom. thus the sex was fastforwarded. they would show "a few weeks later" with the woman being pregnant and thus i used to believe that people make babies just by kissing and sleeping on the same bed. now i know the truth.

When I was little, don't remember exactly the age but it went on for quite a while, I used to believe that the more frequently you had sex, the bigger your breasts or penis would become. So somebody with big breasts or a big penis obviously had sex every day, and someone with smaller breasts or a smaller penis didn't have sex very often. I'm not really sure when I stopped believing this.

up until 7, i used to believe that u ould get pregnnat just buy hugging a boy. cuz of that, i never hugged a boy.
I used to think that men had pubic hair only after they had sex (don't ask why).
so one day when I was changing with a friend in a changing room to go swimming I saw he had a bit hair "down there". I was really shocked and asked him about it (he had a girlfriend). He, being a joker, told me with a straight face that he meant to tell me and yes, it was true, but not to tell anyone. I believed him! This held up for one uncomfortable week until he couldn't bear it any longer and told me the truth. I was so embarassed! (I was 12!)
I used to believe that if you saw a naked lady you would turn to stone like one of those statues. The fear was compounded when I viewed a page out of my father's Playboy magazine and I felt something start to get hard!
I saw an early sex ed movie when i was little that showed a naked couple in bed kissing. The narrator said they were making a baby, so I assumed that to make a baby, the sperm went all the way up through the man's body and through the womans mouth to her uterus!

When i was young every girl knew she could get pregnant from sitting on the toilet seat.
i always wondered why we have belly button, i kept thinking about it and later i thought like that is how you have sex, like both the belly buttons stick together.. and you make baby so what ladies have big belly.
I read a book in the library because I was bored, about girls and puberty. I learned about how we have periods, and I learned about tampons. I thought you were only allowed to use one tampon in your entire life, and periods lasted every day. (It got reaaaaaaaaly distorted) I knew they started when you were 10-14, but I thought they lasted until the day you died. I also thought everyone wore a tampon always, and that it turned into a baby when you got married (I had a wild imagination). I never knew about sex because my parents were strict, very strage catholics, but I figured it out through another library book =). So, after we left the library, I saw a buch of women and thought "They all have tampons inside them." I finally got straightened out by my mom when I was 10. Thank God.
I wsa in the library one day when I was 9 and really bored. So, I found this kiddie book that said "Where Babies Come From". Since I had been pestering my mom to tell me, I figured I'd just read it and know. It was a story about this boy arguing with this girl to how mommies and daddies made babies. Well, further on, the boy's parents explain it to him, and I was completely digusted! I was scared that I would get in trouble for reading it, so I found a bean bag chair, unzipped it and stuffed the book in the middle of it. I dont' think the library ever found that book, and I never looked @ my parents the same.
I knew that girls got periods because I am a girl (duh). I always saw the pad/tampon machines in teh women's bathroom. But onetime, the women's bathroom was really full, so my dad took me into the men's bathroom (I was 8). I saw the pad/tampon machines and I got scared and confused and ran out. I asked my mom about it and she told me men didn' tget periods.

My mom always called a vagina a "wee wee" (or something of that nature). So, my younger sister had a friend over who had a much older sister, and they were talking about sex. They didnt know much (They were like 7!) but I heard the word 'vagina" coming out of the room they were in, and my sister ashed her friend what that meant, and she said a girls peepee. I thought she said Buhchina (like the country), so i was convinced thats what the medical term was. Later, I said to my mom "Mommy, why is China named after a bad thing?" She was confused, so I told her that a girl's vagina was called a Buhchina. She laughed and laughed. Then, she told me the story. What was more embarassing was the fact I was about 10.
