When i was in kindergarten my mom used to call my private area my "pudding". Well at school one day my teacher told us we were going to make chocolate pudding as an activity. I convinced my mom too let me skip school that day.

As a little girl (6 years old), I read that the was a 10 year old who became a mother. I wondered if I asked God very nicely if He would give me a baby -- even while I was still a little girl -- just He did for the Virgin Mary. I thought God would make the immaculate conception for anybody.

I knew a man who never got the sex education in school right. He thought periods were for girls who were sexual active, so virgins didn't get periods.

In the 5th grade, we all knew we were going to have the "sex ed" and we would talk about what it was about. One girl said she knew all about it, and that we girls had to save our blood from our periods for the baby. That's why we needed sanitary napkins.
I always thought that if I weed in the bath I would make all the sponges pregnant and baby sponges would pop out at midnight because we always got new sponges if I weed in the bath.
I used to hear my older sister talking about sex stuff, and it didn't faze me until I was eavesdropping on her sleepover. I was eight, she was fourteen. They were talking about this girl who was supposedly not a virgin. My sister replied, "Ewww, did they even use a rubber?"
Well, I had heard of condoms, but not rubbers. I got this weird mental image of a couple wearing those yellow rubber gloves while having sex. I concluded that this was because men's sperm weren't sanitary and a girl needed to wear gloves.

When I was younger, I used to think that when little girls were born, a TEENY TINY baby was already in their tummy and would grow up and come out when she was married or in her 20's.

When my Dad told me that babies came from an egg, I thought they would come from ANY egg. So I used to sit on chicken eggs waiting for them to "hatch". All I got was yolk on my butt!
I used to think that the bladder was inside or part of the testicle sac.

My Aunt is a family doctor, and once told me about a 29, that's 29 year old woman who came ot her with her first pregnancy.
So my aunt settled her down for a pelvic examination, and the woman was actingas if she was extremely uncomfortable. Finally, my aunt actually started to do the internal, and the woman leapt up, pushed her hand away, proclaimed, 'Not there Doctor!' and burst into tears.
It turned out that she had somehow been under the impression that babies were born through the umbilical cord, and the process of labour was the time when the cord extended out - much like an extendable staircase, or tje emergency slide on an airplane - from the belly button.

When I was young, my family and I were watching a game show when the announcer said that the next contestant was a woman from Regina (Saskatchewan, Canada). I was totally shocked, and told my family "How Rude! They don't need to tell everyone that she's from a Regina! Everyone is from a Regina!"
To this day, I still laugh when I meet people from that particular city.

When I was 5 years old, my mother took me into a public bathroom in a hospital, and for the first time, I saw a tampon dispensor. I asked what my mom what a tampon was, and without wanting to get into details, she told me it was a piece of cloth women used to stop them from bleeding.
We exited the bathroom and began telling me about the operation she had on her sinus' and that she would have to go back to the hospital next week to change the gauze in her nose which was stopping all the blood.
Infront of all the medical staff and other patients, I (loudly) told her to save herself the trip and just stuff tampons up her nose, as that's what they were made for.
I couldn't figure out why everyone was laughing.
I was homeschooled until I was 16, so I was kind of sheltered. Anyway, I used to think that when you were born, your parents decided what sex you would be and if you were a boy, they would cut the umbilical cord off really long and if you were a girl, they would take the whole thing off. My entire knowledge of male anatomy came from seeing my little brother naked when he was a baby before his testicles descended, so I didn't know about testicles. Anyway, when I got older and started exploring myself a bit, I found my clitoris and I thought I was growing a penis! I was so scared for a long time!

When I was six I knew that sperm from a man went into a woman and met an egg to make a baby. I asked my mom if it just flew out and landed in the woman.

Well i got told by my dads side of the family that if you stuck you thumb in your mouth and held your breath you would get bigger boobs. They told me my aunty did it when she was little so i had to try it. Sadly when i was 12 i developed the theory behind it as well and told my niece. See when you hold your breath the air tries to get out and the pressure has to be released so it goes straight forward....making your boobs bigger. Of course this isn't only for girls, because guys don't have boobs, when they hold their breath/blow on their thumb it goes into their muscles.

As a kid I believed that the baby either had to originally be in the mom or the dad, and I believed that my mom just wouldn't tell me which one because it was a big secret. I decided that it was the sperm that was to become the baby because it could already move, and mom wouldn't admit to that because she was jealous that dad had the baby first.
