I used to believe…

when i first got my period at age 12, i told my younger (fifth grade) friend all about it. i told her about cramps and stuff, and how unpleasant they were. "juliet," she went," you are SUCH an idiot! u can stop it anytime u want by cutting ur finger!" I was like,"?" and she said,"yeah! u can't bleed in 2 places at once!"
she is such a moron. now i'm 14 and she's 11, about 2 be 12. i hope that when she gets hers i don't see bandaids all over her fingers.

When I was in 5th grade they school deicided they would teach us about what a period was. They only invited the girls which I thought was kind of odd but paid no attention to it. We watched a movie about it explaining that a period is when you bleed once a month and that you get it around your early teens. I don't know why, but I thought boys got it as well and when I came home that day I told my brother the information I had found out and told him soon he would bleed once a month. He was only 9 and when I told him this he screamed and ran to my mom. After that she explained only girls got periods and that was the end of that..

When I was little I thought sex meant sleep since that's what it seemed like in movies. One day when I was sleeping with my dad my mom asked from another room "what are you doing?" and i said "I'm having sex with my dad!"

When I was little I thought that babies were made by The dad kissing and hugging the mom alot. Then I had "The Talk"!!! and now at 11 years old i know how babies are really made!

When i was small, i use to have a Baby Book. In it was a chart of my First teeth. However, at the time i thought it was because thats where i was born, out of my mothers mouth! A

My Aunt always used to tell me that babys came from the stork (as many people are told),but One day I asked her "How do you get the stork to come?" and she told me you had to call him...and as the curious kid I was asked her "HOW?!"...Ahe told me that when two people really love each other they take off their shirts and let their Belly-buttons press together to call the stork!

One day I went to the zoo with my parents and we stopped by the petting zoo to see the pigs. I soon got severly confused and pointed out that those larger pigs had eggs on there stomachs. ( They were male) They didn't correct this mistake so for a while i figured that pigs laid eggs that grew on their butts and fell off when they were "ripe".

When i was little, i used to think that the way my mom got pregnit was that the docter gave her a pill.

At a young age, I used to think of the day when I would have a wife and I wondered how I would go about initiating "the deed". I couldn't imagine what I would say to her or how to ask. How embarrassing! It never occurred to me that girls would one day WANT to have sex.

I used to believe that the lint in belly buttons was the material you had to make babies. I was scared to clean it out because I thought that then I couldn't have children.

When I was really little, I used to think that when a man and a woman had sex, the man stuck his penis to the woman's nipple. Once I got older, I knew sex involved a penis and a vagaina, but I didn't understand the aspect of a man's penis being "up", I understood that a man was "hard" during sex, but I didn't know it also went up. I ALSO didn't know that the man's penis actually went into the woman's vagina, I thought it just laid on top to the woman's vagina and the sperm trickled into the vagina...

When I was pretty young(about 4 or 5)my mom told me about how some babies were delviered with a C-section. I already kind of knew how most babies were born, but after she told me about C-sections, I thought THAT was the way that most babies were born. Also when she told me how they had to cut the mother open, I though she meant they cut the mother in half(literally). I wondered how the woman survied this..

I always thought in order to have a baby you had to lick a girl's vagina. Then I found the truth. Things made a lot more sense.

A few weeks before my 5th birthday my mom asked me what i wanted to have.She said i could have anything i wanted. And i knew what i wanted.I wanted the penis of my 3 years older brother.So i asked for it(my brother was in the same room).My mother said that it was impossible.I asked her why,and told her we could cut it off with a pair of scissors and then glue it on my body.I thought that it was possible... and everybody could change their sex if they just found somebody to switch with.My brother was turning all white,so I told him that he needn�t worry, he could have my vagina.My mom said that that was not the right present for me and she would think of something else.I was angry for weeks and didnt talk to her.

When I was 9 or somewhere around there, a friend of mine who's mother was a doctor and apparantly told him "everything" said that in order to have sex, you had to get a boner and then when you peed, white fluid would come out. I pictured a long, thin, hollow piece of bone that you would put up against your penis, then pee out of, and the boner would change the pee into semen.
