When I was little I misheard one of my friends older sisters saying lesbians, and we thought it was laguardians. A little bit later, I learned that it was really lesbian, but still secretly believed that laguardia was a tiny country in yeurope where all lesbians live. Im a newyorker, so when my family and I went to laguardia airport to go visit my aunt in Wyoming, you can imagine my parents suprise when I asked the girl porter if she was a lesbian!

When I was little, Vh1 had a greatest hits or something countdown. The BeeGees were like no. 5, so my babysitter, who used to love them was really happy. Now, somewhere along the way I got the BeeGees confused with BJ. and a few weeks ago I had just learned that BJ meant Blow Job. So, to impress Jakkie, my babysitter, I yelled out "Look Jakkie, its the blow jobs!!!"
I heard my mother comment to various people that it took her seven years before she had me. I stood my ground when my statement of "my mum was pregant for 7 years" was questioned by friends.

I always thought that women had to keep the plastic part on when inserting a tampon...
Someone on here said that wasn't the case...
How interesting lol...

When I was very young, I used to think that women got pregnant by eating their wedding cake. It seemed logical to me at the time... a couple got married, and soon afterwards, had a baby. I surmised that they must put something in that cake that would make the wife pregnant, because that's the only thing all married couples had in common -- the wedding cake!

When I was about eight or nine, my friend caught me playing with myself and told me that only gay boys play with themselves and that meant I was gay so I should stop it. It was kind of a habit though. I tried hard to stop playing with myself though so that he would not think I was gay.

When I was young, I thought sex was when one person kissed the other and the latter tickled the former's nipples. I once asked my brother to have sex with me. I also believed it proper to remain fully clothed during the act.
I remember watching George of the Jungle with my older cousin (a girl) when I (a boy) was very young, and I asked her why George had boobs. She hesitated for a moment, then told me it was because he had long hair. For years I believed that I could grow boobs by growing my hair out. Of course, I never wanted to 'cause then I'd be a girl!
I also, like many other young boys, believed that girls had penises too.

When I wasabout 4 or 5 years old my family and i were at a church event. my mom was talking to a pregnant woman, and i asked why her belly was so big. she then rubbed her belly and said my baby is in here. From that point on I thought she was a horrible woman because she ate her baby. Now that I have kids of my own I realize how silly I was.

Sex was never really verbalized in my house,so having lived on a farm I made my own theory. This theory I thought to be true for a very long time, until having sex for the first time. The theory...I thought that males had sexual organs like pigs, it would just spiral out and the girl could be a fair distance away. Then once touched on the bum by the 'cork screw' become pregnant. How rude of a realization is that?
I used to believe (from watching T.V.) that if you literelly slept with someone, as in a man and a woman who weren't related, slept in the same bed, the woman would get pregnant.
I used to go to a christian school, so I thought that God would see the two people, and think, 'oh, they're in the same bed, she will have a baby in 9 months!'
lol
I used to think that a blow job was when you dried your hair with a blow-drier. So when one of my older brother's friends asked me, when i was about 10, if i knew what a blow job was, I replied, "yeah, i give myself blowjobs all the time".
I always thought that all girls were born with a little tiny baby in there stomaches, and as they grow, the baby would grow with them and the girls wolud eventually get pregnent.
I've been telling my twin sister this for the longest time.

As a kid, I always thought that the space between a woman's breasts were the second place from where she could throw out solid waste.
I used to believe that having your period was no big deal. I had seen all the ads on tv for pads and tampons and thought that they were just being dramatic. I decided that when I got my period I would just ignore it and not go crazy with pads and stuff like those silly women in the ads. When I was 11 I was told by my friends what a period really was. I was horrified to learn that it could last a week and that every women HAD to have pads or tampons. But thank goodness I learned that in time.

Being a nosy little sister, I hovered by my big siss bedroom door when I thought she was getting into trouble. When I over heard my mom talking to her about sex, she referred to it as the birds and bees. I thought she said birdbee. Later that summer we went to Florida for a family reunion and my mom said, Wow you guys! Look at that. A humming bird. Then I started to laugh and say, Mom, gross! I dont think we should talk about sex. I looked at everyone and saw looks of amusement and others horror. My Disney experience forever has been tainted.

the first time I heard the word "masturbate" I thought that it was sticking your finger up your vagina!
I'm not sure why, but when I was little (around 5 or so), I thought a women became pregnant after eating too much cheese. I didn't eat more than one piece at a time until I learned the truth. Now, I can't get enough of it! :)
i used to believe that a woman got pregnant by having sex with a man, (But that's not all), then they would kick each other in the penis and vagina and after they were done kicking the other person, the woman would kick herself in the vagina, and she would be pregnant!!

My older brother told me that when girls are born their testicles migrate up to their sides. That's why they don't like it when you pinch/tickle them there.
