My friend at about 8 years old used to believe that he wasn't born out the front, but actually came out his Mum's bum. His surname was Brown as well, so he might have actually been telling the truth!

When I was only 3-7 years old I used to tell all my friends that if you put your tongue in someone else's mouth you'll get pregnant. So whenever my parents started kissing I woukd scream that I didn't want a little brother or sister

I used to believe that people were born pregnant and everyone had a baby eventually. I remember being about 5 and thinking I'd probably grown at least a toenail inside of me by now.

When I first learned about sex when I was really little, I saw my parents driving licenses. Of course, on there it says "sex" and then either M or F so I though it was marvelous, or fantastic haha. Wow.

When I was 5 I read an photo case book in the agony aunt section of the local paper that involved a man shouting "Why is my daughters chest ripped, did you sleep with her?" Looking back my young mind probably missed out the word "shirt". Until the age of 12 I was convinced that one day I would have to have my chest ripped open and had nightmares involving as such.

I asked my mom why babies look like their dads if they came out of the mom, and she said when people get married they mix DNA. I thought they needed surgery before the wedding.

I used to think that you get pregnant when the mummy kisses the daddy. Then I realised that couldn't be true because my mum and dad kissed all the time. I was confused. When I was 8 or 9 my mum told me about sex. I knew already about sex and thought it was naughty. I said '' but mummy you and daddy never had sex did you?'' then she explained

I use to think if a man and woman made out she would become pregnant and then the baby would see through her belly button what the parents look like and become a morph of both of them..

When I first learned about gay people I thought it was something that had only started fairly recently like within the last 50 years or so. I thought this until I asked my mom one day and she informed me that there had been gay people as long as there had been people!

When I was 8 I was watching T.V. with my mum and a girl laughed when a guy admitted to being a virgin. So I asked my mum "What's a virgin?" to which she replied, rather flustered "A virgin is someone who hasn't hugged the opposite gender". I then told her I wasn't a virgin and went around my primary school telling everyone including the teachers. Thankfully my next door neighbour set me straight.

I used to believe…

When I was little, I asked my parents the obvious question "where do babies come from?" My parents told me that babies came from the hospital.

for years, i truly believed that there was a shop full of babies, one room full of chinese babies, white babies, black babies and asian babies, and you would go to the shop and buy one to match the ethnicity of your family!

it was only when i went to year 7 when I found out where babies really came from!

When I was little and my mother told me how I was in her belly when she was pregnant, I thought that also meant I could crawl up her throat and see out her mouth.

My parents used to tell me babies came from under a gooseberry bush.

When I was four they told me I was going to get a brother or sister.

I'd run down our garden first thing every morning to see if the baby had arrived yet!

One day when I was about 6 or 7, my brother came home from school. My mom asked him what he learned about that day, and he said he learned about the penis in his health class. I asked what a penis was and heard my mom say "a whale's pee pee" instead of a male's. I was surprised when I eventually got to sex ed and learned what it really was.
