I used to believe that you only had to get naked from the waist down to have sex. I remember being really nervous and worrying about whether I would have to show a guy my boobs during sex or if I could just keep my shirt on. I was like, 12, when I believed this.

When I was young I thought baby's came from storks. So when my brother was being born I asked my mom (after he was born) "Did the stork come?" She looked at me and nodded. I think I got that idea from Dumbo....

I used to think that 'making a baby' and sex were two different things. Making a baby was a simple thing mommies and daddies did. Sex was a horrible thing only bad girls and mean men did! I think the media played into this.... I recall hearing the tv announcing two celebrities that had sex together and thinking "those evil people...."

From the time I was little, I knew what the word "sex" was but I didn't fully understand the mechanisms of the deed. In the third grade, my friend on the school bus told me she saw her cousin having sex and that they peed into each other. That's what I beleived sex to be for the longest time.

When I was really little I used to think that my mom gave birth to my dad and raised him. Then once he grew up they had all of us kids together. I didn't know how they did it though...

I used to believe that if you were a virgin you had had sex before. So when I learned about 'the virgin Mary' I always thought it was weird that the church would always talk about this woman who openly admitted she'd had sex.

When I was younger I knew a little bit about sex, but I didn't really understand pregnancy. For some reason I thought that sperm was in a man's spit. To get pregnant the guy and the girl would both have to spit in a cup, and then stir it, the girl would then drink it and get pregnant.

I was an odd child.

I grew up in a religious family and had always been taught that God made all of us , By observance I new babies grew in the mother's tummy. So I assumed that when God eas ready to make a new person, he just made one start growing in a woman's tunny.

When my sister and I (were 9 and 10) were younger, our older sister(who was 13 at the time) told us that she was pregnant because she took some pills and me and my sister believed her and did whatever she wanted us to do.....that lasted a day but I believed that you could get pregnant from pills until I was 13

I don't recall at what age I learned the truth, but I do remember always thinking that right after a couple got married, they would hug and the woman would leave the alter with a full blown baby bump. I never actually thought of how it came out...but the hug is what got her pregnant, and only after marriage. haha.

I used to believe that whenever you got married, you were automatically pregnant. Oh the imaginations of toddlers :)

When I was little, I thought that a husband and wife immediately went to have sex in a designated area (like a shower) in the same building they were married in on their wedding day.

When I was a VERY young child, I used to believe that babies breathed through their mothers' belly buttons when they were in the womb.

Then when I got a little older, I thought the imbilical cord was their air supply and they wore it on their faces like a fighter pilots mask.

Again when I got older, I thought babies could read their mothers' minds while in the womb.

I used to believe babies came out of the belly button.

When I was little I thought that immediately after the words "I do" during a wedding ceremony were pronounced, that the bride immediately became pregnant. There was no way to stop it, it just had to happen because she was now married.
