when i was little i thought sex was that a man would put his penis in the women's butt and then the sperm would go in. while the sperm was traveling at a slow process, a baby would form and then it would go out the vagina

I used to believe…

One day, I happened to see my mom in the bathroom, pulling out a tampon. At that age, I was not even aware that I had a vagina and I thought she was pulling it out of her anus, so I screamed "Mom, what did you just pull out of your butthole?!"

I used to believe…

When I was about 5, I thought that women got pregnant from kissing, and since I had kissed a couple of my neighbors who were boys, I got very scared because I thought I was going to have to have a baby, and I thought my mom would be mad at me for it.

I used to believe…

When I was pregnant, I was sitting one day having a nice cup of tea. My 3-year-old daughter came and stood by me and said, "You should't drink that!" Startled, I asked, "Why not?" "When it goes down, it'll burn the baby's head!" she said.

I used to believe…

When I was very little, my older sister told me over and over again that my parents had found me in a huge tree stump that was a little distance from our house. I didn't like that idea too much because I visited the stump quite often & all I could see there was wood rot and bugs. It made my skin crawl to think that I was once in there too somehow... but the big question then was what form was I in at that time? My conclusion was that I must've started off as a small red bug that somehow got transformed after my family spotted me and took me home! Sharing that story with my children through the years (all 50 of them... years, of course) has always given us a great chuckle.

when i was 4 or 5 i used to believe that babies were born from your belly button.

I used to believe…

When I was little, my pregnant mom told us that when it was time for her to have the baby she would be able to pick one out at the hospital. I was so confused but I still believed her even though I knew that there was a baby inside her. So I thought that when she had the baby at the hospital all the babies were put together and the mommies could pick which baby they liked. Then when I saw on T.V. that babies came out from between the legs, I thought that they put the baby back inside the mom and had her push it out.

i use to think that when you get older your body was so weak that you couldnt contain your own bladder. either that or you were too busy to afford to go to the toilet. hence the need for pads.

I used to believe…

When I was about four, I had just come home from the beach with my Mother and cousin, she was about 2 or 3. Anyway, we both showered together, being so young, and I looked down where her weiner would be. My eyes widened, and I began to scream "MOMMY MOMMY COME QUICK,". She ran into the bathroom and asked what was wrong. I pointed at her vagina and said "Look, Susy hasn't grown a pee-pee yet".

I used to believe…

when i was little... i was watching the news and i heard the word 'raped'. i asked my mom and she gave me a very hurried and vague description that was basically when someone was doing something you didn't like and wouldn't stop.
later that night, my dad was tickling me and i screamed "stop!!! stop!! your raping me!!"
luckily we were in our own house. my dad immediately stopped and didn't talk to me the rest of the day and i think then my mom described what it was and i was completely embarassed.

I used to believe that when women wanted to have babies, their heads would be cut open and the baby would come out through it and then they would be stiched back up. i just didn't want to believe the real way.

I used to believe…

When I was 7 my friend told me you got pregnant when a boy pissed in your uretha.

I used to believe…

When I was about 8 yrs old, my cousins stayed the night at our house. Because all the other beds were full, two of my cousins and I would be in the hide-a-bed together. I was the oldest, and one of the younger cousins was a boy. After my parents went upstairs, I started to worry. Panicing, I ran after them. I was worried that I was going to get pregnant. I thought that when adults said "sleeping together" that they were being literal. I told them I thought that my cousins "tadpole thingys" would crawl across the bed and into me, causing me to have a baby. I can only imagine how hard it was for them to supress their laughter while giving a better explanation of the birds and the bees than they had previously given me. ("Tadpole thingys"-- really!!)

I fully believed (before I learned learned that men had an unlimited supply of it until the vasectomy), that I only had a limited supply of semen. Mostly helped by the fact that I never had the same amount of it whenever I'd ejaculate. So I was always worried that I wouldn't have any left for when I was older and ready to have kids.

I'm not sure if this is the right section,
but when i was a kid, my friend told me he is so smart because his mom swallowed a dictionary when she was pregnant. And he read the book in her stomach.
I got mad at my mom for not doing that, and i think it's her fault that i'm so stupid. Hehe

I thought women gave birth through some separate passage (not the vagina) that appears and opens up on the front of the belly, and closes and disappears after. I thought this because I know babies came from their mummy's tummy, and some misleading info from my mum, something about a 'cave' opening up...

I used to think that babies came from the moms belly button. I was such a dork.

i used to belive that the reason girls wear pads when they get older is cause they cant control thier bladder and wet themselves....i figured out the truth of that one as i turned 13

I used to believe…

Being an 11 year old with to much knowledge for her own good, I was little disturbed when my friend walked up and told me she had started masturbating...I found out later she meant menustrating.
