I used to believe that women could get pregnant from oral sex (as in a blowjob). A scoolfriend told me that some time in primary school. I actually believed that sperm could travel intact all the way through the woman's digestive system, then end up making a baby. I never thought of the idea people has sex not to make babies, but for fun...

I used to believe…
When my mother and I had the sex talk (I was 9) she went into detail about how men produce sperm in their testicals and this comes out the penis. However she never said how it came out. Well I thought for a long time afterward that during sex the woman would have to squeeze the mans testicals for the sperm to come out if she wanted to get pregnant. Thank goodness for sex-ed, cleared that up before I hurt anyone.
I used to believe that it was against the law to have sex before you were 18. I also thought when you got married the blood test you took was to make sure you were the same blood type because you would get AIDS if you weren't the same type... I spent my young existance afraid to fall in love with someone because we might not be the same blood type. I have no idea how I thought this up

I used to believe that oral sex was talking about it.

when i was bout 5 me and my family were watchin a film which showed a new born baby. i then turned round to my dad and asked how you could tell if a baby was a boy or a girl.... as he was really embaressed infront of my older brother and my mum he just said it was cos of the colour of the baby. i got really confused cos me and my brother are the same colour (well in th eyes of a 5 yr old anyways) so i thought he must have been a girl as well but he jus had short hair cos he liked it
I used to believe that when a mum and dad wanted a baby they held hands and said "it's time", and then the baby would grow inside the mum's head, travling down to her belly.

I used to think that babies popped out of the mothers stomach, through her belly button.
I used to think that some men wore condoms all the time instead of underwear - Like some men wore briefs, some wore boxers, some wore condoms. I also assumed there was a hole in the tip of it so they could go to the bathroom without taking it off.

My parents had a different answer than "the stork" when I asked, "Where do babies come from?" My mom told me mommies and daddies pray for babies and God gives them to the parents. I replied with, "I thought they came from your belly."

I used to believe that babies came out through the mother's belly and they sewed up the stomach afterwards.

My mother was pregnant with my little sister when I was about 2. I asked my mother where babies came from and she tried to describe sperm and eggs to me. As she told me this I said "Like chicken eggs and tadpoles Mommy?" For many years, that's how I thought babies were made....chicken eggs and tadpoles
I used to believe that during an erection, a man's penis remained pointed downward. I couldn't imagine how a couple could possibly have sex in any position other than the obvious! Then my 9th grade health class showed (much to my shock!) a thermoscopic video of a man getting an erection. I think I almost said, "Ohh! I get it!" outloud (I didn't though!)

when i was little i heard a tv show say that every one was in a bad mood at the trailor park because it was the 1st of the month(talking about rent due). I knew that women were suppose to be in a bad mood whenever they started their period, so for a long time I thought everyone started on the 1st of the month.

when i was young i was watching some news show and it said a woman got raped. i asked my mom what it meant but she wouldnt tell me.
it sounded like "scrape" so i thought it meant "stab". the next day i went to school and i thought i was so cool i learn this new grown up word, but then this kid told me it didnt mean that but he also wouldnt tell me what it did mean.
it wasnt until i was like 11 or 12 that i realized what it meant

When i was little, i used to think tampons were those toilet paper roll holders since the package was the same shape. Then one day I told my mom i thought we needed a new roll holder and got out a tampon for her. She laughed hystarically and told me that those were not roll holders and said that i wasn't allowed to touch them. LOL

When I was little my mother told me that semen came out of mans penis and that's what you needed to get a baby inside a womans tummy. My mom was always really straightforward when talking about that but she always used the word "semen". Up until 13 or something like that I believed that because women are hurt when delivering a baby then a man is supposed to hurt when delivering the semen. Logic, right? That was because I always thought the semen were quite big and it would hurt for them to come out. Like a melon semen.

When I was in middle school, I used to think that 'eating a girl out' meant that you put food in a girl's vagina and then ate that food.
boy, was I in for a surprised when I got to college.

My sexual education had a few details missing - when my parents gave me the "birds and the bees" talk, they completely left out the part about sexual intercourse. Therefore, I believed, until I was almost 16, that you could get a woman pregnant simply by sharing a bed with her. I subsequently deduced that the reason silk sheets were considered sexy, was because the sperm could travel on the slippery surface far easier.

Here's another one. The only private question i ever asked my mother was that which we all at some point do "Where do babies come from?". If you can believe it, she told me they grew from a special tree and you had to go pick them at the hospital. Great stuff to be filling your kids head with, eh?
