I used to believe…
When i was about 6 my mum and me were sitting on a park bench and i a used condom on the floor, but i thought it was a balloon so i said 'i think some one's had a party here' my mam looked at me shocked because she thought i was using a euphamism for sex before i said 'because theres a balloon on the floor'. i think she was relieved.

When i was little, i was interested as every child, where babies come from. So, seeing some grown-ups kissing, my mind came with this idea. Babies are born only in married couples, and the baby is concieved when the couple marry. So, when the guy kisses the girl, she bites the tip of his tongue and swallows it. After that, from that piece of tongue is the baby evolves.
i thought that only a girl could have an orgasm and that a guy didnt. i dont really understand why i thought that though.
i also thought that a blow job meant u had to like actually blow on the penis.. like put it in your mouth and blow it.. like to blow up a balloon or something

Oh god, this is embarassing.
Anywho, my best friend and I were sitting around one day, lazing about, and her older brother rung us up (Her older brother that I found quite attractive, mind you). He and his gang of pals, who we hung out with often, were a year our senior. They were supposedly quite 'knowledgable' in the feild of sex and such, and somehow the subject came up (probably discussing a braggart friend) and they were -all- convinced that when a man ejaculated, the fluid of choice was blood. Well, embarassingly enough, both my friend and I knew the truth of the matter, and informed them henceforth.
She was embarassed at having to tell her brother, who apparently decided to see for himself sometime after that phone call, and me, knowing that --if-- (not that I was planning it) anything ever were to happen between me and him, this (and probably other just as naive/embarassing situations) would be the result!

For a long time, I thought that I came from Sears, just like everything else my parents bought. I imagined that my parents went to Sears and picked me out and that I was enclosed in plastic shrink-rap and stored in a large refridgerator with a bunch of other kids.

In year six everyone was learning about 'virgins and non-virgins' etc, and we were all really confused as to which meant which, so when my this boy asked my friend if she was a virgin (he knew the difference) she went 'eurgh, don't be disgusting...of course i'm not!'
i still make fun of her, dirty girl !
I have a friend who thought that sex was when a man stuck his finger up a girls vagina (by the way she is 13... and just had to take health at her private catholic school... imagine her suprise)

When I was nine, I found some condoms in my aunt's bedroom. My cousin and I played with them like balloons (Couldn't figure out why they tasted so funny), even though I knew they were for adults. I unrolled one and told my cousin (pointing to the well at the end)that the woman would put them on her breasts so that the man would not get any milk in his mouth.
I used to think that a mans penis didn't actually have to enter a womans vagina for them to be "having sex." I didn't realize it was supposed to enter at all and when I found out I was really disgusted.
I thought babies were brought in shops and put on hangers. My mom always told me that if I was naughty she'd send me back, so I presumed I was from a shop, and she'd buy another baby, that was nice.

I used to think that boys didn't get their penis until they were 18 which was legal adulthood!

To avoid any awkward questions that my sister and I might have when we were little girls, my mom took us to the library and picked out this video called "Where Did I Come From" which was a kid-friendly cartoon movie about 45 minutes long. They never actually showed any naked parts or people having sex. They talked about the organs by covering them up with soap bubbles because the parents were taking a bath together. And sex looked like the bed moving and a bunch of kisses. The first time we watched it, all we could do was giggle because they were talking about "naughty things" and because there was this dog in the video that was just funny for no particular reason (and when a baby was born, while in the waiting room a kid got so excited he strangled the dog a little and it made a funny noise). Anyways, we really liked that movie for some reason and thought that we knew more than anyone else about sex and babies. I was so proud of my knowledge (i was about 6) that I told anyone who'd listen about it as best as I could. I didn't understand that it was wrong at the time and I got in trouble one day because I was telling my friends that "A man has something called a penis. Which is like saying peanuts without the 'T'." quoting the movie. Later in life I fainted when they talked about what really goes on durring child birth!

when my friend was younger, he used to think that men were supposed to like men, and women were supposed to like women. he went to his gay neighbor one day and asked him why he was the only "straight" one on his block and started talking about how his parents were weird because they were "gay".

I used to believe "eating a girl out" actually involved a spoon.. oh jeez.
I'm not circumcised so when I was little I used to think that my penis was so special because I thought that I was the only person in the world to have a retractable penis.

Until the tender age of 8, i did not know that i had two openings in my groin( i am female )-- one for urine, one for reproduction. when i discovered this, i was frightened that i had somehow "broken" myself.
