when I was little I thought that a baby could come out of any of the following: regular way, the butt or your eye. EYE??? I must have been a troubled child!

Well, I'm pretty practical so when I was younger, around 6 or 7 I guess, I knew that boys had a part that stuck out and girls had a hole and that there was something called sex that had to do with both parts. I knew that pee came out of the part of boys that sticks out so I assumed that if a boy peed in a girl that would make a baby. I started to get a little worried after that, every time I peed I thought I was probably supposed to be doing something else instead of just throwing it away in the toilet. I finally told my mom at some point and she gave me a more accurate explanation.

When I was 6, I saw a condom on the ground in my neighborhood and my friends told me and my sister not to touch it. Somehow I believed that a condom was a "kingdom" where little people lived, and I wasn't allowed to touch it because I might kill the little civilians who lived in the "kingdom". I brought it up about ten years later, only to find that my sister believed the same thing.

I thought if you had sex (I wasn't too sure what that was, but I knew babies came from having sex) then the girl would automatically be pregnant but the baby wouldn't start to grow until she was 15 years old. I was terrified to hold hands or kiss a boy because I thought that might be sex and then I'd have a baby when I was 15 and everyone would know I'd had sex.

I thought that women got pregnant because their husbands chained them to the sink. I don't remember any time limit!

When people talk about sex, they call it "The Birds and the Bees". As a little kid, I was very confused. How could two animals of different species have babies?

When I was around 5 years old and learned that babies come from mothers, I wondered from where the baby pops out. I figured that is came out of the ass, because there is no way a baby could fit through the vagina!

When I was about 5 I assumed that baby boys come from men, and baby girls come from woman. Hence, I thought I came from my dad. My parents laughed ever so hard when I told them. It just didn't make sense that I could come from my mom if I was boy. Bleh.

When I was little 5,6,7ish I knew that babies were in the mother's stomach....
I didn't know how they came out. So I figured they put you to sleep(anethesia)then cut open your stomach took the baby out and sewed it back together. Then later I asked my mom: do they out you to sleep when the baby comes out?
She said "no" I WAS SO SCARED THAT they would cut open girl's stomachs just to get the baby out.... I am so glad my great aunt got me a visual dictonary a year or two later ;)!!!

My nephew once told his grandmother that he was very worried, because when he grew up to be an adult he wanted children but he had heard how children were made and wondered if that was true? and if it was, it was the most discusting he had ever heard. His grandmother told him it was true what he had heard. He then said "Well then Im first gonna go to he hospital to get my dick paralyzed!"

I was the smart kid. I knew exactly how reproduction happenned. I could name all the parts, discuss PMS, the whole nine. What I didn't know is that there might be another reason for men and women to have sex aside of reproduction. Boys were gross until they grew up and somehow magically transformed into potential dads. Right???

You know how women will go into a room and close the door so the kids can't hear what's being said? Well I thought that when my mom was in the room with her friends, that they were "playing". I even protected my father from what I thought was this terrible secret. Of course mom and her friends were just talking, but I didn't know that.

I was 13 before someone finally explained things to me. I still didn't fully believe it until I was 18 and had my first serious male partner.

The kids in my neigborhood would sing this rhyme, "It's a boy's occupation to stick his bonanation in a girl's seperation to increase the population, if you want a demonstration, Lie Down". I thought they meant that the boy should put his penis between the girl's breast. I didn't know of any other seperation. Eeks...I think I was almost out of elementry school at the time!

when i was young, about third grade, my (older) friend taught me about sex and said that it only worked when you were married. i thought that when my parents went to sleep, their private parts did... that. i decided not to tell them since it might scare them... they seemed too innocent to know about a dirty thing like that.

I was a very modest little girl but knew where the babies came out. That wasnt nearly as horrifying to me as much as the thought that everyone saw me naked coming out. So I was of the belief that babies came out already clean & wrapped in a blanket, like, straight out of there! And I was so embarassed to find out I was indeed naked!!

When my next door neighbor and I were about 6 & 7, I asked her to ask her mom how babies were made & was very interested because my own mom said I was 'too young to know'. Her mom told her that the daddy feeds the mommy a seed. So after much thought on this, I determined that the mom was fed her seed from a pouch inside the dads cheek when they were kissing open-mouthed!

that men had boy babies and women had girl babies

When I was a child in Catholic school we were discussing the meaning of the "Virgin Mary." My mother had told me that women only have sex in order to have children (good Catholic girl). Since my brother & I are adopted I assumed that meant my mother was a virgin and I proudly informed the nun that my mom was the same as the Virgin Mary. I think the nun called my mom because I got a "sex talk" later that week.

One day my daughter came home from preschool and announced that she had seen Christopher's "tail." She demanded to know why she didn't have a tail...did I cut it off because it was ugly? Of course, it was his penis as they were changing his diapers. I think that deep down she'll always be suspicious of boys' "tails"
