when my friend was little he had a friend he played with a lot who was black. one time when his friend spent the night, his mom had them take a bath together. he said that he was really shocked that his friend's penis was the same color as the rest of him. for some reason he assumed that his friend's penis would be white just like his own penis.

Get this, I thought babies came out of belly buttons...crazy thought hunh? Maybe not because what are they for once you're grown up anyhow?

About 7 years ago, my little brother was 3. I remember my mother coming home one day excited and told all of us that her friend was going to have a baby. My little brother then asked my mother, "But where is the baby right now?"
My mother then said "In her belly"
Then my brother promply asked,
"Did she eat it?"

I didn't really know how "feminine products" worked. I had always seen tampons and maxi-pads in my bathroom as a child, but, had never asked my mom how they were supposed to be used. So, when I had my first girlfriend who admittedly had a period, she told me she used tampons. I asked her - "how do you pee with that thing in there?" and she said "you just go to the bathroom and it stays in there." I was shocked! I still didn't understand how she could go to the bathroom with a tampon in her urethra! :) I asked her if it hurt to put the tampon in where she peed -- that's when she explained to me that a tampon goes in your vagina -- NOT in your urethra!

When I got kissed by a boy the first time (at 8 years old) I didn't know you had to have sex to get pregnant. My mom was pregnant with my brother then, and so I figured that was how she got pregnant. So, for weeks and weeks I worried that my belly was going to pooch out like hers and that she would know a boy had kissed me! It wasn't until I asked her how many times you had to kiss a boy before you got pregnant that she explained the *real* birds and bees to me!

Imagine the look on my grandmother's face when I, her four-year-old granddaughter, asked "when do we get to chose whether we're mommies or daddies (women or men)? I thought peeing while standing was just SO cool, and I had already figured out that only the men get to stand, so, logically, the only barrier in my way was becoming a man. I wasn't looking forward to the whole shaving thing, and I really liked my long ponytail and my barbies, but I figured those were sacrifices I'd have to make.
My grandma was quite diplomatic but I was soooo crushed when she explained that my hose attachment option had expired at the factory. I think that's why we got those Childcraft encyclopedias so soon afterwards.

When I was little I used to believe that my daddy gave my mom a cookie that he made to look exactly like me. And then my mommy ate the cookie and I became a baby in her stomach. And then she pooped me out and I was born.

I used to believe conoms were to put on your dick, and stick in the woman, then slip the dick (not the condom) out and leave it in the woman. I thought it would stop diseases or sicknesses to the woman. I thought it gave them vitamins. THen one day my sis explained what sex and condoms were.

When i was child, I had thought that babies came out of the anus, I don't quite know why, but I would get into arguments at school with the 4th graders, it was amazing though that the other children knew they came from a vagina. My parents never explained, as a result, I caused other children to believe that thier parents were liers, and babies came from the anus.

(I hope this isn't offensive.) When I was 10 years old I wanted to go to the neighborhood pool with my friend. She told me she couldn't because she was "on the rag". I said to her, "Tell your mom you'll do the dishes later." I thought that "on the rag" meant that she had dish duty. Haha!

When I was a little girl I thought that virginity was a diease that prevented a woman from becoming pregnant. I thought this because the church I went to said it was a miracle for the virgin mary to becoming pregnant. I was 13 before I found out what it really meant.

As a child, I thought that by getting married, you would be able to have kids and if you weren't married, then you wouldn't be able to have kids.
My logic was this: Since you a man and a woman to make a baby, the only way for them to "connect" was by kissing. And since I knew that the bride & groom kissed at weddings, the saliava in the kiss would mingle and when the lady swallowed it, she would have a baby.

And in case you're wondering, no, I didn't know about "sex", then.
