If you can believe this, up until I was about 13 or 14 years old I thought that you could tell how many times a couple had had sex based on the number of children they had. Whenever I saw a couple with triplets I would think, "Nice going!" but then I would remember, "Oh, right, they made three kids but all in one sitting. Too bad."

There was this woman in my church who told her granddaughter (I swear this true) that if she had sex she should jump up and down really hard. It would break the egg and she couldn't get pregnant.
Now here is another tidbit. The grandmother had 6 kids of her own. Guess that method didn't work too well!!!

sorry for the graphic nature of this one but...
When I was little I though that you had sex up the a-hole and I was totally unaware of the other hole. So I was confused about where the baby came out and thought somehow it was your pee-hole. Until one day I was talking to these girls and I said something like "in one way - out the other!" and they were like, "huh?" and then i realized my error.

When I was 5 years old my sister had a baby and I had asked my parents where babies come from and my daddy told me that you found your baby on a fence post.

When I was 5 I thought that a woman got pregnat just by getting married. If you wanted one kid- you got married once. If you wanted two kids- you got married twice.
I thought this because my aunt re-married when I was 5 and she already had one kid from her first marriage. Then after she re-married she was pregnant.

When I was a little boy, I thought that both women and men have penises like myself. To make a baby, the man must urinate inside a woman's anus. After a while the woman's stomach begins to swell when the baby is formed inside the woman's stomach. Then the baby comes out in a torrent of diarrhea after about a year. I reasoned that because some women couldn't take the pain when pushing out the baby, they died during childbirth. Therefore, I believed my theory was quite correct... till I read the book by Lynda Madaras "The What's Happening to my body - Book for boys." during the early years of my puberty.

I had to go to the shops and buy some 'female products' and my boyfriend at the time said 'is that for the blue stuff or the red stuff'. I asked him what he meant by 'blue stuff' - because he'd grown up seeing ads where they pour blue liquid onto the products to show how they worked he thought that what came out was actually blue

When I was eight, I wanted to go swimming with my friend Ella, who was fifteen. She was having her period at the time, and so couldn't go. When I asked why, she told me that blood comes from your bum and your tummy inflates when you get to fifteen. I cried and cried and worried myself sick about her, and then my mom told me what was really going to happen.
I use to think that sanitary pads were adult diapers and that was why no adults ever peed in there pants. When I asked my mom if I could borrow her diapers- she nearly died from laughter.

When I was younger I thought that having a baby was easy. First you went to the cabbage patch to pick out a baby. Then you took the baby to the doctor and the doctor would put the baby in mommy's tummy. Then right after the doctor did that you go to another doctor who would remove the baby that same day.

When I was little, I thought a condom was a hotdog cooker. Well one day I decided to put a hotdog in the condom, and the condom in the microwave. Lets just say heat and rubber don't mix well.( the plastic stuff melted.)

When I was a young boy - around 9 - I remember announcing seriously one day at the dinner table that when I grew up I would only be able to have 2 children. My mother asked me why and I replied "Because I only have 2 testicles".
I was not prepared for my parents reaction. They literally fell about laughing to the point where they were literally wiping tears from their eyes. I just sat there saying "What? What?"
Of course, I eventually got the explanation but it wasn't until some time later that I too saw the funny side.
