I used to believe…

When I was little I had a vague idea of what an orgasm was: something that felt really, really good and was essentially the /other/ point of sex. I always figured that the orgasm lasted the entire sex session, and that's why people liked to do it so much.

When I was around eleven I found out that an orgasm only lasts about 10 or so seconds. I thought, "What a jip!" And vowed never to have sex, because having to wait 15 minutes for 10 seconds of pleasure seemed like a total waste of time.

When I was 12 I use to believe that the sencond coming of christ would be through me and that I would be the next virgin mother. I checked my stomach for months for signs of growth...i think it was because of that movie

i used to believe that oral sex was when a man and a woman slept in the same bed together naked....i watched a movie taht mentioned that it was happenning but only showed a couple under the covers (presumbly naked) so that's what i assumed it was cuz they didn't show otherwise.( i was only 6 but i believed this til i was 10 or so)
i even got into an arguement about it w/ my very exasperated mother.

I used to believe that you just got preganant -without having to do anything. I remember saying to my mum-'i really hope i get to have a baby' and being really worried i just wouldn't.

When I was little I thought that you became pregnant when you got married, but then I'd get really confused when I met people with kids who'd never been married, another thing that confused me was where I came from scince I was the seconed child in my family and I couldn't have come from the church like my sister

When I was younger, my mum told me that babies came out of your belly button. One day ni school all the girls were talking about 'when babies are born' and they all started giggling like mad. Me, as stubborn as I am, stood up and said ''what are you laughing at. Whats so funny about a bellybutton'' Now, this really increased the laughter volume!!

At some point, I think I was about 8, I had figured out that when you have sex, the guy's penis goes hard and it goes inside the vagina. I also knew that the whole thing 'ends' with an orgasm.

But no one had informed me of the movements involved - so I assumed sex was something really romantic where the guy lies on top of the girl, slides in, and then they just lie still and look each other in the eye and kiss while the good feeling just builds up inside them until they come.

Needless to say I was very disappointed once I realised how it really works. =(

I used to think anal sex was the normal way everybody did it, that it was how you got a girl pregnant and everything. I actually thought this until I was 15 and had sex for the first time, needless to say the girl I was with wasn't too pleased.

After that, it was another 2 or 3 years before I found out that some couples actually did have anal sex too.

I used to believe that sex meant kissing.

I thought wen u did it hard u had a boy. and wen u had sex soft u would have a girl.

I remember one time when I was about 14 years old I was taking one of those purity quizes online with a friend who was 16 and a girl (I being a guy). She started filling it out and reading the questions out loud. When she came across the question "Have you ever shaved your pubic hair?" she clicked yes and moved on. Well, I didn't know what the word pubic meant so I thought they just misspelled public hair (like as in the hair on top of your head) I immideately asked her when she did that because I had never seen her bald before. She started beating the crap out of me because she thought I had been spying on her. By the time I explained myself I had already earned my very first black eye.

when i was little i thought that when you have sex, a man sticks his willy up the womans minge and when he pulls his dick out and the baby hangs from the end of the mans willy.

I used to think that they guy had to pee on the girl to get her pregnant. I was terrified of having kids when i grew up because i thought someone would have to pee on me. It was very traumatic. :)

This isn't that funny. But when i was young i used to think that having sex was just a snog and that a condom was a pill you take right before you snog so you dont get pregnant.
It really suprised me to see people snogging whilst walking down the street!

When I was little, about 8 or 7 I used to beleive that when you were born, you had a baby inside you and as you grew so did the baby until you got old enough and then you had a baby. I believed thid until I was in Junior High and they showed us "rhe movie" that told us about our monthly cycles, but I still did'nt know how babies were concieved untill a few years later . I lived a very sheltered childhood!
