I used to believe…

When I was little, I saw the other girls naked all the time, but never the boys so I just assumed that both sexes had female parts. I was pretty surprised when I walked in on my male friend peeing.

I used to think that the umbilical cord went from a baby's genitals to the mother's belly button, not vice versa.

I was born by C-Section, and I had always known how that worked, so assumed that all babies were born by C-Section. When I was 5, my friend's little sister was born (vaginally) I wanted to go and watch so I could watch because I wanted to see her mom's insides.

I thought that when you got pregnant, that meant that you couldn't marry anyone else then the person you were having the child with....boy was I wrong!

I used to believe…

When I was about 9 I knew that a man's penis had to go into a woman's vagina, however I couldn't work out how it could get in there if it was all floppy!

I used to believe…

when I was 10. my nurse told the girls about puberty, periods, etc.
I was horrified when I found out about periods and how blood came out of your
"private". After that when ever I had to use the toilet, i would be scared to!
(and of course, i did anyway!)
when imagine how surprised i was when i woke up with blood on my sheets!

I used to believe…

After walking into a bathroom to find a man with an erect penis in there (doing what, I dont know), I ran out, terrified, convinced that this man had a hairy elephants trunck sticking out of his crotch area, possibly, I wasn't sure, with two little beady eyes on the end if it (must have seen the one little hole and imagined it as two)!!!! Even though I had already seen male 'parts' before, they had just been of other little boys my age, so it looked rather different. I was convinced that when boys grew up their willies morphed into rock-hard elephants truncks which were alive, with eyes and a mind and consciousness of their own!

I used to think that a girl or woman could grow a penis at anytime on any place of their body, be it their head, their chin, their arm, their knee, whatever, and that they ranged in size from tinsy tinsy tiny (in which case women would try to disguise it with make-up and make it seem like it was just a little spot or something) to 'fully grown' size.

When I was little, I used to take baths with my little brother. I thought his penis looked like my mom's lipstick so I asked him why he stole it and attached it there.

He told me he didn't know.

I thought fetuses being in the mother's stomach had to be bored and so they watched TV too, but rather than TV, they watched their moms take craps, except it was from the inside. So they got to see the actual crap being formed and coming out of the butt.

Once I figured this out I told my mother and she nodded understandingly. I beamed and knew I was right all along.

i used to think that if 2 people kissed too long, then the girl would be pregnant.

I was a really little girl, and didn't know about a man's "man-sword," so when I saw a little boy at my nursery camp with his pants down, and later, my baby boy cousin getting a diaper change, I thought they looked like that down there because they had a DISEASE -- that my body was the way bodies were supposed to look, and my campmate and my cousin had a disease. This was before I read a book on reproduction and learned the truth. (I still didn't think the appendage was very pretty) Now, when I love a guy, I think his WHOLE BODY is beautiful, top to toe, including his mighty man-sword and those two tender "huevos"

I used to believe it took two hours to make a baby, and if the couple wanted twins they should have sex for four hours, triplets? Six hours! And so on...

I used to think that gay men had sex by removing semin from one guy's penis with a syringe, and injecting it into the other guy's penis. I thought that lesbians did something similer only they probably used turkey basters, because the holes were bigger. and when I first heard about butt sex I thought that gay men had only just invented it in the last few years, and this was what they did before it had been invented. I also believed that homosexuality was a relativly new thing and it had only appeared in the 80's.

When i first got 'taught' about sex, it was by a very stupid man and an equally stupid book as his aid. The book was about the human body, and was designed for children, and in the part about reproduction, it had a picture of a metal box with a spring coming out of it(which was suppossed to represent the male reproductive parts) and another metal box with no spring (the womans parts) and arrows showing that the springy thing went into the other metal box or something. It was really dumb and thanks also to the person 'explaining' it to me, i was left thinking that sex was something these weird robots did for us, so we could have babies, but I had no idea how them having sex made us have kids.

I used to think that periods were constant, not just once a month, that women had periods every day of their life after about 13 years old.

I used to think that sex meant spending time with the opsite sex.
