I used to think that once people turned 30, they didn't have sex anymore. 30 was the cutoff date.

I don't know why, but when I was in kindergarten, I adopted the belief that when you had a baby, you simply pulled it out from under your shirt. So when me and my friends would play "house", and one of us would be the "mother", to have the baby, we'd stick a doll under our shirts, and when it was born we'd pull it out..

When I was in second grade, I had a friend who knew about sex, because his mom had told him about it. However, he wouldn't tell me what it was because he had promised to his mom that he wouldn't tell. Instead, he just told me that a boy and a girl have to kiss naked. I couldn't figure out why kissing naked would have a different effect than kissing fully clothed, if no body contact was made besides the kissing.

I used to believe…

My young (14years??) nephew thought that fertilised chicken eggs were made by the rooster going around and sitting on the eggs and "injecting" them. My farm-wise son put him right, however he insisted for some time that his mother had agreed this "was probably how it happened". I think that might be a lesson in listening to your children properly.

I used to believe that a giant bird would deliver babies to the mother when she was said to have order one. I just could figure out why a woman's belly would get so big. I could never figure out the connection. I was 10 years old how embarrasing it is now.

when I was 7 or so, my friend told me that you could die from having your period.
