I use to believe that all you did is pee on each other in order to get pregnant!! This is what my best friend in 2nd grade told me! lol Believed this till the 5th grade!

I used to believe…

This was way back when I was 11 years old. One of my friends told me that a person could have sex only once a year. And you know what......I completely believed him and held on to that belief for another 4 years (stupid stupid me !!!)

I thought that when you wanted to have a baby you went to a cloud land and your parents/any other kids in the family, would go choose a baby and other parents would be there picking out their babies.

When I was little I thought that (if you were a girl) you were always pregnant it just took years to develop, and when you got married you finally started to show of being pregnant.

I used to think the umbilical cord was connected to the genitals of newly born babies, and that when the cord was cut the midwife had to be very careful-if the baby was a boy she might accidentally cut his penis off, and if the baby was a girl she might not cut enough off and there would be all this excess cord just dangling.

I knew that babies were made with girl and boy private parts... but I thought that if my brother peed and didn't flush then I peed that a baby could grow in the toilet if you didn't flush fast enough

when i was little i thought that for babies to be born , that when the pregnant women the nurses unknotted their bellybuttons with a metal stick and just took the baby out ! , i was rather weird ? x

When I was about 4 my mom told me she got me in the supermarket, in the section with babies. For a long time I had a clear visual picture of my mom deciding which baby to pick and how she looked at the price. Funny though, I'd never seen a baby section in our supermarket. Guess I'd been at the wrong store! :-))

My sister and I used to believe that tampons were for making older women feel younger. We thought that once they were using a tampon, old women were able to dance around and do high kicks.

When I was younger (6-7) I found my mum's tampons in the bathroom cabinet.
I thought they must be toy umbrellas or parachutes of some kind, since they had a string and well, they are shaped similar to an umbrella.

So I unwrapped one and tried pulling the string to open out the 'parachute'. When it didn't work I was incredibly frustrated, but still tried with most of the box. After a while I got fed up and threw them away.

Mum had quite a shock later when she came into my room and saw all these destroyed tampons in the bin!

I found out about sex when I was 12, but I remained unclear on the actual birth process until I was 17 or 18. I believed the baby would come out the mom's butt. I was always terrified by this since I thought a 9 month pregnant mother might go to poop but accidentally plop the baby into the toilet.

Not me but a friend thought (until we set her straight) that periods were blue because of the commercials that show how much the pad absorbs. She was so embarrassed when we told her that the blood "down there" is the same color. So was her face :)

Until I was 8 or 9, I believed that "virgin" meant "young woman" or something. It wasn't before I read something about a guy being a "virgin" that I understood it had to mean something else.

When I was younger, I used to think the penis was actually called a "buddy" and the vagina was actually called a "schnizzy". Thanks, mom. :)

when i was little i used to think that you got pregnant by kissing in the mouth, and that by kissing you lost your virginity!

When I was little I thought to have a baby a mother swallowed an egg and then it grew in her stomach until she had birth. I still have know idea where this idea came from.
